On tap at Bottleworks. Pours a cloudy ornage/brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, pine, citrus like orange peel, lemon, and caramel malts. Flavour as denoted in the aroma. Smooth, bitter, very fresh tasting, well balanced. So good and very refreshing. Gorgeous. mcberko (17845) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 13, 2011
On tap at Bottleworks, split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy darkened orange with a small white head. Aroma of fresh piney hops, resin and loads of caramel malt to balance. Flavour is very well-balanced, but still hop heavy, with fresh piney and resinous hops, orange peel, and a citrusy hop finish. Delicious brew. Hazy golden color/ivory head. Nice pine sap, floral, tropical fruit hoppy aromas. medium bodied. Lightly sweet tropical fruits, florals, mild pine sap flavors on a solid malty base--tasty 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 29, 2011
unfiltered cloudy ruby orange. fruity, ester-heavy nose (gelatin candies, flowers). sweet throughout, chewy with moderate malt roughness and a brash chalky vitamin yeast flavor-texture combination. buzzing, assertive, rough bitterness late with increasing astringency in the finish. poorly put together as if the idea of more and more hop acids translate to better quality. this one is just messy, dirty and brash.

Echoing everything after4ever said. Super complex hop aroma & flavor - almost a new flavor with every sip. Savory, sweet, citrus, pepper, saffron, I could go on. Crisp malt profile, light on the tongue, yet carries the hops well.
This is a beer that might just get me to drop my general bias against NB. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Draft at APEX in Portland, OR. Of course my main man after4ever happens to be the only other person to rate this so far! Tom, you’re the Man. Miss ya buddy. I’m going to just have to agree with everything you’ve spoken of here. The pepper in this aroma and flavor is most spectacular. Blends amazingly well with the hop profile presented. Nice and cloudy, nice and floral, mixed with spice. The peach/apricot peppered finish is just...solid! Bready and thick for an IPA, damn good stuff right here!!! after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 4, 2011
Draft at special brews. Pours a murky medium amber with a big creamy white head that lasts. Pepper, garlic, and a bright peach and apricot nose...trust me, this is strangely appealing, far better than it sounds. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, caramel, peach, and apricot on the mid palate. Long black pepper resiny finish. Awesome beer bursting with fresh hoppity goodness.
