Draught at Pumphouse, Richmond, BC
Cloudy amber color with small compact head. The aroma is fruity and fresh. Malt and cereals flavor, with balanced bitterness and a very fresh fruity hopping.
Very nice.

Tap at Elysian, Seattle, 27/05/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin white head which dissipates edgeward. Nose is grass, bretts, yeast esters, bitter orange, farmhouse tones. Taste comprises grass, spice, good dose of bretts, barnyard, light funk, bitter tangerines, lemon rind, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte fruit and funk as the curtain falls. Decent saison - good stuff.

On tap @ Beachwood BBQ. Light amber pour with a white head. Spicy rye nose with some floral and citrus peel hops. Light yeast, pepper, and some toasted bread. Flavors of citrus peel and rye up front. Bread, yeast, pepper, and a nice orange note. Lightly bitter on the finish. Not bad.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dirty/hazy orange with a 3 finger foamy near-white head. Aroma is earthy and fruity - but not strongly (foam in the way). Med plus body. Flavor is peppery, earthy, some rye, and arguably citrus. Expected more citrus, but it is what it is. For me it’s rather smooth pepper/fruit with perhaps some non-pepper spice. Mellow ale. Drinks nicely.

Draft. Poured a hazy dark golden color with an average fizzy frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate rye, earthy citrus and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a slick smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

On draught at Brouwer’s Cafe during Logsdon Brewer’s Night on 09/10/2013: Hazy bronze color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of floral hops, malt and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and yeast. The finish is fruity up front with a peppery yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

"Good use of rye here...melds well with the light farmhouse character of the beer, though I’d think of this as a rye ale before a saison, there are elements of both. Would have brought one home if there was room."

Tap @ New Belgium. Pours a bit hazy golden appearance with a white head. Fairly spicy rye, bready, lemon pepper, citrusy aroma. Somewhat juicy, white pepper, grainy bready malty, citrusy, easy drinking flavor. Not bad.

marcus (10231) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Bottle from City Beer. Pours copper with an attractive off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a slightly harsh fruity malt flavor with a bitter finish. Harshness is probably the rye, but it still works pretty well.

arminjewell (9675) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JAN 3, 2014
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of rye, earth, spice notes, hints of white fruit, peach, pear, slight grainy notes with a hint of orange peel, grapefruit in there. Taste is a mix of grapefruit, orange, slight grass into spice, rye, slight white fruit notes, hints of biscuit, bread in there, touch of a yeasty note, finishing bitter.
