Good pour, thin white head. Nose is juicy tropical fruit, little green. Bitter. Middle opens up to papaya, little banana, tangerine, bitter resin, and medium roasted malt. Finish is bitter with the house yeast present. raymow (1732) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2017

Despite being elder statespeople of the craft brew scene, New Belgium rarely knocks it out of the park and this isn't an exception, but it is very solid. The aroma is a nice and sweet mix of citrus and hoppiness. The taste is more bitter than expected based on the smell, less a juice bomb, and more in line with early 2000s IPAs, an improvement over the standard Ranger nonetheless. The appearance is amber with a thin head and the palate is smooth and chuggable. Overall a solid but indistinct IPA, good for inclusion in a variety pack but not one I would buy on its own too often. Good for watching Finding Dory with the fam and cuddling wit yr boo boo on the couch.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, golden yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width white fizzy head with poor retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, dank resin. Taste is citrus, dank resiny bitterness, grass. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and crisp, dry mix of light sweet and bitter. Overall, a bit more bitter resin than I'd prefer but OK. omhper (25541) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 22, 2017
