Pours a dark reddish pink color with sweet fruit aroma. Taste is lightly sweet and tart with a crisp finish. The raspberries dominate here. Nice light hops balance. Not as dry as your typical saison. Extremely refreshing. If this is really 8%, it’s kinda dangerous as you wouldn’t guess it at all. I doubt I could drink more than one, but a perfect starter. This is what a fruit beer should taste like! bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 27, 2012
Tap at OBF. Pours ruddy with a creamy tan head. Slightly sour raspberry aroma. Med body. Flavor is slightly sour fresh raspberry. It’s tart, just a little sour. There’s citrus. There’s an earthy suggestion. Quite complex. Very tasty. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 20, 2012
Tap @ Tap n’ Handle Foco. Pours a dark rose pink with a big pinkish head. Aroma is a big, tart, cran raspberry fruity. Tart, tangy raspberry, fruity wheat, a touch spicy flavor. Very interesting brew. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Tap @ OBF... Poured pinkish with an off-white head. Spiced, herbal, and fruity. Dry with a mild tartness. Sweet candied tones. Tea-like herbs, and passionfruit. Bacterial (2999) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Bottle shared by Greg at RBSG - thanks!! Beautiful red pour and a great sour funky raspberry nose. Taste is nice, but perhaps too reminiscent of fruit juice added to a very slightly hoppy beer.

Tap at Clips of Faith. Bright orange-red body. Thin, oily head. Raspberry tones, some faint funky yeast notes underneath. The rose hips give it a sort of artificial feel, but it is still an enjoyable beverage. An interesting one-off, but not exactly one I’d seek out again. portableparty (2350) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2013
Pours bright hazy pink with a thin tight off white head. Aroma is strong raspberries like jam. Taste is watery malt raspberries and slight sour tartness. Palate is thin watery and dry. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Bottle at RBSG. From notes. Tart and sour with a little funk and loads of raspberry. I would totally but this if I ever find it again. stchloe (1067) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2012
One of the best New Belgium beers I have had. Nice raspberry nose and aroma, sweet fruity body with citrus notes and slight sourness. DarkMagus (537) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Pours a deep candy red color. Aroma of raspberry juice and a bit if sugary sweetness. Flavors were sweet, a bit sour, with lots of candy raspberry flavor. A bit of bitterness as well. Mouthfeel was not excessively rich, but very clean and refreshing. One if those "thirst quenching" types of beers. Definitely would be a hit with the ladies.
