A dark purple/red pour.reddish pink fizzy head-taste of premium coffee, dark raspberries and sweet honey, good mead

Dark red light carbonation. Aromas fresh coffee, sweet raspberry and slight honey. Flavors overpowered coffee, backbone of medium sweet raspberry and honey. Not what I was expecting. The coffee flavor was over the top for a mead to my taste. Different though and I do like.....different....

Bottle. Pours darkest red with a thin pink head. Nose of coffee, honey and blackberry. Blackberry and coffee flavor with a honey finish.

Tap at J’s. Pours a clear, deep ruby red with a small head that dissipates almost immediately. Huge cold brew coffee nose with light chocolate. On the palate more coffee, cacao nib and jammy strawberry, plum and raspberry. Fruity finish with light honey. Really original take on a mead and well-done.

It pours deep purple with very little head. The aroma has heavy coffee, minor raspberry, richness from honey and tobacco. It has a medium full body with light carbonation. The taste is interesting with more fruit and while the coffee taste is reduced it still has a roasty char. Quite nice.

500 ml bottle. Deep purple in color with upfront blackberry and then coffee notes. Overall sweetness.

Bottle shared at Ratebeer awards show. 30/01/2016. Huge thanks! A lovely deep plum red coloured pour with no head. Aroma is earthy plum, tart raspberry, vanilla nd a hint of leather. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mixed fruit, plum and raspberry, earth. Palate is graint, tannin, sweet, syrupy. Super dry finish. Lovely

Bottle from Flandersned-thanks! Dark purple. Nose is interesting Blackberry and old coffee that kind of works. Fairly well carbed, taste is moderately sweet, but flavor is super cheap, old coffee and pretty well disgusting.

500 ml bottle shared. The mead is a dark purple with a pinkish head of foam. The aroma has dry red wine notes, raspberry, and the roasty parts of coffee. Sweet and fruity at first, but begins to get funky and dry in the finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. This is a super delicious mead.

500ml bottle pours a dark purple color without an head. Strong coffee aroma. Strong coffee flavor at first that clashes with all other flavors as they appear.
