Bottle shared at Ratebeer awards show. 30/01/2016. Huge thanks! A lovely deep plum red coloured pour with no head. Aroma is earthy plum, tart raspberry, vanilla nd a hint of leather. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mixed fruit, plum and raspberry, earth. Palate is graint, tannin, sweet, syrupy. Super dry finish. Lovely

Bottle from Flandersned-thanks! Dark purple. Nose is interesting Blackberry and old coffee that kind of works. Fairly well carbed, taste is moderately sweet, but flavor is super cheap, old coffee and pretty well disgusting.

500 ml bottle shared. The mead is a dark purple with a pinkish head of foam. The aroma has dry red wine notes, raspberry, and the roasty parts of coffee. Sweet and fruity at first, but begins to get funky and dry in the finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. This is a super delicious mead.

500ml bottle pours a dark purple color without an head. Strong coffee aroma. Strong coffee flavor at first that clashes with all other flavors as they appear.

Bottle. Dark purple pour with no head. Big coffee on the nose that is subdued in the taste by black raspberries but does come through a bit more pronounced on the finished. Wierd combo but pretty damn good!

tap - Pours very dark amber and has a big, big coffee aroma that I could smell from a foot or two away. The flavor is of coffee, honey, and some tart berries. Medium bodied. Very good.
