Growler, huge thanks to Jason for saving me some. Cloudy golden amber pour with a small head. Aroma is awesome. Dank hops, big juicy citrus and tropical fruit, light caramel. Tastes so juicy and dank but also adds some white grapes. Moderately bitter. Clean finish. Great DIPA. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - MAY 30, 2015
Growler: Thanks, Jason! Cloudy sunburst amber, dense & nearly opaque. Foamy white head. Chunky white cap. Huge mango & tropical aroma. Pineapple, passion fruit, florals, wet grass, a hint of lemon-lime. Gushing. Flavor is crisp; wet hop leaves, grass, a hint of green onion, grapefruit rind, orange zest, pineapple, mango, a touch of white pepper & bitter line towards the finish. Clean, hint of cracker malt. Great stuff, wow! rxeight (3043) - Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Growler filled a week ago, thanks paul. resin and spruce, hops with a touch of citrus. Loaded with hops with a lower bitterness than you would expect from all the hops but still very prominent. Pretty good stuff. gthayerdc (4) - - JUN 3, 2014 does not count
So freaking good. Perfect combo of hops and malt. Nice grapefruit and wonderful smooth finish

12 oz. draft at J. Timothy's in Plainville, CT. Hazy golden orange pour, white head. Aroma is massive citrus including orange and pineapple, piney resiny hops. Taste is sweet malt with some pineapple, grapefruit and orange flavors. Decent amount of pine and hop bitterness. Nice DIPA. bellco33 (807) - Willington, Connecticut, USA - MAY 15, 2014
Poured from growler into a tulip. Pours cloudy golden-straw with a nice white head. Aroma is grapefruit heavy, a little resin, and earthyness. Taste is very citrus hopped, mild sweetness to balance out the hops, dank, with a bit of grape pez on the back end. Medium body, perfect carbonation, a bit oily on the palate. Great beer. Ataraxia (531) - California, USA - MAY 14, 2014
Orangish-yellow, hazy, thing white head. Somewhat subdued aroma of grapefruit, orange, peach, resin, and cracker malt. Light sweetness followed by pine bitterness and a good amount of maltiness. Smooth, well carbed, and barely medium-bodied. Long resinous finish with a bit of booziness Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAY 13, 2014
Pours a rich hazy yellow golden color with a finger of sticky white foam. Nice hop forward beer with punches of dank herbalness, citrus and musky straw. Nice underlying malt sweetness helps round out the mouthfeel and ease into the bitter finish. ClarkVV (6642) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 2, 2014
Draught at EBF, 3/22/14
Pale-golden body with some light amber tints, high clarity and a medium amount of white head with strong retention.
Great citrus and tropical fruit blend in the nose, hightly aromatic, and with a sweetness that seems partially malt-driven, but also from the hop fruitiness, almost reminiscent of cherries. Anyhow, not as malty as the Gandhi Bot, thankfully, and less leafy/earthy/woody of a hop presence. This one is all bright, crisp perfumey floral hop aromatics mixed with juicy tropical fruits. Alcohol and a touch of resin have a brief flash on the finish, but are otherwise very well-controlled. High strength of aroma.
Bitter up front, quite a bit so, with an almost wintergreen like floral flavor that slowly succumbs to a bit of malt sweetness and juicy fruit hoppiness. High carbonation helps break up the thicker than expected body but some dry pine flavors do emerge on the finish. Nicely dry and attenuated, though, despite the big body on it and drinkable, if perhaps a bit too aggressive for me, overall. Top notch aroma, though, that’s for sure.
