Bought a growler from the brewery on 8/6. Drank the whole thing that night in Gandhi bot glass. Best beer they make. Great hazy unfiltered look and taste. Just taste pure hops and hides the alcohol well. Amazing beer.

An amazing display of the beautiful hop that is Nelson Sauvin, I’d like to have this a lot more than I have. Sadly, that seems unlikely for the foreseeable future. NewWorldMatt (6) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 12, 2013 does not count
Pint glass, poured from tap. This beer is outstanding. This is the Imperial/Double/IPA that most others want to be when they grow up. As you raise the glass to your face you are hit with the most lovely, intense, floral aroma. Satisfaction without even taking a sip. Taste is mature and sophisticated....there’s a lot going on and it’s all good! Finishes with a dynamic zing, like a little added surprise, a bonus if you will. No doubt from the Nelson Sauvin hops. Killer stuff. gthayerdc (4) - - JUN 3, 2014 does not count
So freaking good. Perfect combo of hops and malt. Nice grapefruit and wonderful smooth finish davey101 (751) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 29, 2012
Pour from a 64 oz growler into their new 668 tulip glass. Purchased on 8/28/2012.
A - Dark yellow, light orange body. Has a light haze to it but its not as murky as Gandhi Bot. Small one finger bone white head settles down to a dirty cap. Excellent lacing and retention.
S - Well I guess this is what Nelson Sauvin is like. Interesting mix of pungent and dank pine with some honeydew, apricot, lime, and guava. Finishes with a light savory note with just a touch of crackery malts. I could smell this all day! Super unique, I think I prefer this aroma to that of fresh Citra.
T - Less complex than the nose but well balanced. Starts off tropical with sweet honey, melons and some lime juice. Super bitter with an earthy and musky funkiness. Finish is dry and crackery. Mouth feel is not too slick or coating with a nice level of carbonation.
O - NEBCO and their hops. They do some great work together. I think I prefer this to Gandhi Bot, but I feel like its something I’d have to be in the mood for. The honeydew-lime flavors playing off of the musky and dank earthiness is just so damn unique and tasty. Top notch beer!

On tap at the abbey. Pours thick creamy yellow and straw. Aroma is very strong citrus hops. Tastes like a thick tart unsweetened grapefruit juice, very nice.

Sample from a growler. Super citrus and grassy herbal dipa. Tons of tropical fruits and grapefruit/lemon. There is a nice floral earthyness that balances things out. Great. dogfish120love (1339) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 25, 2013
Pours a hazy light orange almost yellow. The aroma consists of pungent citrus and grass notes as well as tropical fruit. Very Nelson forward
