Crisp, carbed, trace lacing, beautiful golden straw color. One of the finest examples of what an easy-drinking Lager should be. There’s nothing fancy here, but what it is here is done right. Have had it on tap at home several times over, and like it says on the keg, "Drink it. It’s good." Jeffsayyes (51) - - OCT 25, 2014
Bought from a can in New Haven. Was the only NH beer I was interested in because most were IPAs. I actually liked the beer a lot. Reminded me of Budweiser but much much much much better.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2004 Rerate: Of three cans, one was spectacular, one was mediocre and one was merely great - given the variability I'm marking down from the original 4.1 overall to 4.0 - Original rating:
The simplest of beers. Even though I loved the simplicity of New Holland’s Full Circle, this is way beyond that. Light golden, slightly oily body, this is a classic in the bready soudough, slightly sweet pilsner malt blending with robust spicy (very flowers and pencil shavings) hallertau - FABULOUS pils, and from a can!! Thanks to the CT LV!! Cottrell (72) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 21, 2005
Pours a a slightly hazy golden color with a large foamy white head. Aroma is dominated by grassy and floral hops, accompanied by hints of caramel and crisp grainy aromas. Flavor starts mildy sweet and grainy, then meets up with floral and spicy hops. The hop profile for this beer is spectacular. CTwriter (34) - USA - APR 19, 2006
Drunk from a can and poured into a glass. The first sip was cautionary, and despite all the encouragement, I couldn’t believe it would taste fresh or clean. It did, even from the can (which is, of course, lined). Poured clear, with a small head, this pilsner smelled like newly mown grass and tasted even better.

355mL can thanks to Travlr. Very fresh I think. Clear bright straw. Massive white foam. Huge retention and sheets of lacing. Nose is fresh lemon, fresh noble hops, honeydew, crackery wheat, fresh biscuit. Taste is clean, quenching, long grassy soapiness. Long bitter aftertaste with sourdough cracker. Hints of metallic twang are off putting. But well crafted. TAR (2761) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - OCT 28, 2004
Pale, chill-hazed yellow. Loose layer of white bubbles. Fragrant, hugely lemony Hallertauer aroma with touches of glaze, straw, grassy hops, and unripe honeydew. Loose, fuzzily soft carbonation. Extremely soft and alelike in nature, with an abundance of slippery fruitiness and gentle acidity. Muted glazed malt flavor. Juicy hops permeate the palate and exaggerate the citrusy acidity. Mildly spicy hop bitterness intensifies late and continues to linger well after the swallow. As it breathes and approaches 60F, doughy malts and minerals arise to beef up the body along with a gritty pear and coarse/lime zesty hop fusion. However, there’s an unclean/soapy yeast taste that eventually clashes with the hop bitterness and the undefined maltiness. Finishes less dry, although extremely juicy and lemon pulpy, with a culmination of sweet doughy malts and coarse, herbal bitterness. A very nice Pils, despite an overly/unclean yeasty flavor and aroma. Open your mind and don’t be fooled by the can, because this is so much more than a novelty. Trust me. Good classic pils aromas, sweet malts with spicy hallertaur hops. Pours light blonde with a huge white head. Good malts flavor up front, some hints of cereal flavors, but very good malts flavor. Then the hallertaur comes through, spicy and bitter, with a good crisp finish! this is a pretty good pils! Radek Kliber (7359) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - APR 20, 2008
Appearance: Golden lager with bright laced top.3+
Nose : Pleasant, light meadow soft hops with sweet golden juicy malting 7+
Flavor/Palate : Soft bodied , malt orientation to Bohemian lagers with light yet easily noticeable green smooth hops . Fruity like, sweet fig. Filling thirst quencher. Solid malt work with smooth execution. On par with best European samples but with its own little difference. Closer in style to Budvar than to Urquell . Yummy brew.
