3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Just noticed that this beer is rated 46 overall, but 89 by style. This site should adjust its rating system - there shouldn’t be such a large difference between the two. This is an excellent pilsner, and its overall rating should be higher.
Anyway, the appearance is fine, with the normal pale golden color that you would expect. The head was very large, tons of foam. Light-bodied, slightly sour, with well-balanced pilsner malts & hops. Refreshing.
In a shortie pour at the brewery today. Pretty decent, but not mind blowing, but what pils is really? The aroma is paper and grass. The appearance is a classical pee yellow. The taste is a smooth round straw water, thin, refreshing, magnetic. Good for a Saturday adventure with delicious Peruvian food to accompany a trip to the kids table by necessity. tfontana (1185) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 12, 2017
Taster pour at Craft Beer Race New Haven. Appearance is pale yellow (urine-like), with mild sparkle, small head, bit of lacing. Aroma is Pilsner malt, noble hops, cracker, vaguely metallic. Taste is strong cracker--rich, like wheat thins--cardboard. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation with finish as taste. Overall true to the pilsner style with the taste, while not unique, is strong. bellco33 (842) - Willington, Connecticut, USA - APR 3, 2015
Poured from can into a tulip: Pours hazy straw / golden with a one finger white head. Aroma of cracker malts, pils malts, and a little lemon zest. Taste is a slightly sweet pilsner with a decent hop presence. Light to medium body, high carbonation, decent pils. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 19, 2015
New England Bucket List Trip #62. 12 ounce can from Amity, New Haven. Pours a slightly hazy straw with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of doughy malt and snappy herbal hops. The taste is grassy malts, bready malts, mild apples and butter. Medium bodied, well balanced. Nice beer.

A solid, not spectacular lightly sweet pilsener. Hops had faded a bit from this particular can but it was still pretty tasty if forgettable.

Can. Pours a hazy gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong wheat grass and skunk. Thin mouth with strong wheat grass and light dryness. Decent. Jeffsayyes (51) - - OCT 25, 2014
Bought from a can in New Haven. Was the only NH beer I was interested in because most were IPAs. I actually liked the beer a lot. Reminded me of Budweiser but much much much much better.

Crisp, carbed, trace lacing, beautiful golden straw color. One of the finest examples of what an easy-drinking Lager should be. There’s nothing fancy here, but what it is here is done right. Have had it on tap at home several times over, and like it says on the keg, "Drink it. It’s good." Reynolds314 (3472) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Aliens don’t belong in an Indiana Jones movie!! Haven’t had this in a while. Nice good pils with light hops, doughy malts and some slight corn water. lb4lb (2628) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Pours light golden. Smell is fruity, apply and lightly yeasty. Nice aroma. Taste is fruity, slightly hoppy and some fruity yeast. Overall a smooth, easy drinking pilsner that has a more fruity yeast character than average. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty drinkable and tasty.
