On tap at brewery. Pours hazy peach with a moderate white head. Aroma is mango, papaya, faint pineapple, and some resin. Taste is grapefruit, pine, pepper, orange peel, some faint pineapple, and light bread. Yeasty finish. Moderately bitter. Medium body. Average carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel. Taste and aroma are both very dull, but it is readily drinkable.

Pours a hazy, mustard-yellow, with mid-sized, lasting head. Aroma has some grass, some hop-pine/spruce, some citrus. Flavor is citrus and lots of pine/spruce hops. Fairly bitter for a beer with "fuzzy baby ducks" in the name--guess I was expecting something a bit more soft? It isn't bad, but not as good as I was expecting.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2017 12floz can, dated 11.16.2017 (I'm mostly certain this is COD), thx dwirks89, nonic glass. Its cloudy, murky, milky, ultra hazy, or however you might describe the opaqueness. It doesn't matter, it looks good with a whitish head atop the a yellow body. Smells hoppy (duh). This is to say like spring blossoming greens, which invokes hints of citrus and the longing for sunshine filled days. In other words, the aroma is pretty good in the you did things correctly sense. NEBCO hits all the right notes on this one: there is a very green herbaliciousness, and citrus fruitiness. Juicy with a bite. Malt flavors are not apparent, but I consider this a balanced American IPA given it's not hollow nor harsh. What bitterness there is quickly washes away. To get down to it a simply delectable IPA. Updated to make composition edits.

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2017 Not sure if this was a bad batch but was a bit disappointed. Pours a beautiful orange with white head. A grainy aroma and citrus hops. A stronger grainy and bit rough taste to start with citrus hops, pine and malts. A lingering grainy, malt and light bitter hop afteraste.

Can courtesy of Adam, thank you! Hazy to cloudy golden color, white almost ice cream cone head. Aroma of grapefruit, earthy pineapple, sourdough bread dough. Taste is bittersweet balanced peppery mixed citrus. Delicious.

A 12 fl oz can with no canned on or best before date on it. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a hazy orange colour with a nice two finger white head that had decent retention and left nice lacing. Aromas of orange, mandarin, citrus rind, ripe mango, pineapple and grapefruit. Tastes of very nice juicy tropical and citrus fruits. Orange rind, mango, pineapple and pine with some nice sweet malt to balance. Bitterness is mild and restrained. Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, wow, just wow. This was just an amazing brew by NEBCo. A really really good IPA that is just up there with the best of them. I would love to drink this everyday. A must buy beer in my book.

Can pour from the brewery- pours hazy orange with a thin but frothy head nice latticing. Pungent tropical fruits aromas lead to a juicey yet hoppy taste on the front end with the maltiness showing up on the backend. Great beer! In my opinion its the best of the NE IPA'S. It had the perflect blend of hops and citra to satisfy both a hophead and a juicebomb lover. Great to know that one of the top ipas in the U.S. is made right here in my back yard.

Hazy orange. Marmalade and tropical fruit. A bit maltier than expected and only moderately juicy at 7i-8 weeks old. Would love to try brewery fresh.
