UPDATED: JUL 29, 2017 Can at home. Richmond, London. Aroma of biscuity malt and slightly subdued orange aroma. Marmalade, orange peel and citrus with a hint of biscuit and pine on the palate. Not sure if this is super fresh, can isn’t dated but it tastes a bit jaded. Solid but not one I’d seek out again in a rush.

Just enough malt flavor. A great example of a citrus IPA. I’ve had it in growlers and cans. Great can design. Great name.

From a can, poured a ligbtly hazy dark gold. Aroma was of light citrusy hops, pale malt, grape soda. Flavor similar, hops subdued, grapde soda for dags, not good.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Aroma is hop forward with quite a bit of mandarin, tangerine and orange. Some lighter grapefruit notes with light pine resin. Medium light malt notes with hints of caramel and toasted bread. Pours a somewhat hazy, golden orange with a medium sized, thick, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with moderately strong malt notes. Some cracker malt notes but also quite a bit of caramel and toasted bread. Medium high bitterness with a moderate hop flavor. Hop flavor is dominated by orange and tangerine with some light pine resin. Some lingering hop oil and resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer, but I don’t understand the hype. Its pretty malt forward and the hop profile lacks a wow factor.
