Taster pour at New Haven Craft Beer Race. Appearance is light yellowish-brown (like ginger ale), with light sparkle and head, some lacing. Aroma is citrusy, pine, grapefruit. Taste is bitter pine, grapefruit, balanced with cracker malt. Palate is medium bodied with average carbonation, finish as taste and dry. Overall, lots of flavorful hops for a pale ale while still having a noticeable malt presence. Good.

Another excellent offering from Nebco. It pours a nice hazy yellow orange with a thin frothy head the aroma is peach, cantaloupe, and dank. The taste is a very fruity robust luscious hop tornado that is unexpected for such a low ABV beer, but there is nothing watered down about this one. One of the best Nebco beers I’ve had yet and one I will get again. Good for catching up on WWE programming and chugging smoothies while missing your boo boo.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy light yellow orange, thin white head. Aroma is mango, juicy fruit, papaya, grass, light spicy funk, bread, clean cracker malt, pine. Flavor is lightly skunky straight funk juice, crushable and lovely stuff. Great APA

On draft at NEBCO. The pour is a hazy light gold color with a light white head that leaves some solid soapy lace behind. The aroma is nice and citrusy. There is a great bright grassy hop happening that I really like. Light bitter and sweet fruit on the back end. The flavor is similar. Great citric grassiness up front with a lingering sweet hop. It’s crisp and clean. I’m a fan. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a great carbonation and a lingeringly bitter, very juicy fruit hop on the back. Nicely done.

Sample at NEBCo with koleminer20. Aroma is citrus, lemongrass, grass, pine, fantastic. Appearance is golden, slight haze, white head. Taste is citrus, crazy amount of pine, grass, tart, nice. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, pine needles aftertaste. Overall, solid solid stuff.

Draught at the brewery, 6/4/16.
Gentle, but thoroughly hazy golden body has a strong peach-apricot hue and a big white head that is well-retained.
Huge nectarine-orange aromatics are juicy and there’s a touch of grapefruit pith to keep it balanced. Very minor honey with a touch of biscuit from the malts easily balance the hop character, and it feels incredibly fresh, lush and with a floral-spice character not often found with this hop. Tangerine juice-like finish with modest acidity and no alcohol or flaw.
Pillowy malts belie the low gravity and tickle the palate as the hop-infused liquid goes down. Moderate bitterness balances and there’s a wonderfully gentle peach-nectarine character with stronger tangerine/orange juice components. One of the "softest" textures I’ve seen in a beer, which isn’t always easy for such a low gravity beer. No resin and perfectly balanced and juicy. Like a NE IPA-lite. Very memorable.

On tap. Golden/light brown pour, hazy. Nice beer, solid and drinkable pale ale. I feel like I should get more of the galaxy vibe from it, but I really don’t so much. Still, that said, it’s a good beer as always from them. I enjoyed the Nelson version better though.

Growler. Opaque pale yellow pour with a white head. Nice fruity hop aroma. Bitter hop notes with a fruity notes. Good body and mouthfeel.

Growler... Cloudy dirty-orange pour with a small, fizzy, white head. Good retention. The nose offers spicy, citrusy and tropical galaxy hops flanked by a light note of funky armpit musk from ridiculously heavy dry-hopping. Even cascade hops smell more like body odor than grapefruit and pine when dry-hopped too heavily. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. The flavor and finish are both bitter and dry. Enjoyable overall. Fresh growler shipped my way by BriceNice!

TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 11, 2014
Pours a nice darker golden color with white head. Pine, citrus, and a little bit of light fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little hint of caramel malt backbone.
