6 oz. @ RBNE gathering. Thanks Ernesto987 for giving me some of your ammo out of your craft beer automatic rifle, cheers!! Aroma is grassy, citrus, resin, herbal, spicy scallions. Real awesome aromas with the flavor living up to the nose. mcox90 (2095) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Grapefruit, orange peel, tropical notes upfront. Then the dank hops kick in. Scallions, fresh cut grass, and musty garlic. This finishes dry and with a lingering herbal / grassy finish. I’m glad I waited to try a fresh can. Bold and pungent…. Awesome hop bomb of a DIPA. Cheers to the Connecticut crew!
Sampled @ RBNEG courtesy of Ernesto987. Pours a gorgeous red orange with a billowing white head. Big hop nose. Grapefruit, oranges and pine resin. Nice tropical fruit flavors with biting hop bitterness. Full bodied with a bitter finish. What a nice DIPA. How awesome to have this available to you. wheresyourball (572) - El Cajon, California, USA - MAR 16, 2014
12oz can from a trade. Clear straw pour with a small white head. Nose is sweet grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is fantastic, balanced pineapple, pine, grapefruit. Medium body. Really enjoyed this one on a hot day by the pool. radarsock (1203) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Ernesto987 supplied. Many thanks! To oversized snifter, it pours a sandpaper yellow with which a white-ringed head stood. Pictures sawdust, bone marrow, peach syrup, American hops, and rosemary. Dry and fulfilling.

Taste at RBNG. Thanks, Ernesto! Pours pale yellow owande with a white head. Aroma is floral, spice. Taste is light pale malt backbone with grapefruit peel hop. Slighly sour in the finish. jbdpsu82 (95) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 5, 2014
Pour into Hopslam snifter. Hazy gold with a thick light head that quickly dissipates. Very strong floral hop aroma. Taste doesn't follow through though. Good, not great. Very carbonated mouthfeel novice101 (308) - - FEB 17, 2014
Pours a yellow orange with a large white head. It smells of citrus and some floral notes, hop flavor is fairly lower than what it should be, it still taste of a lot of citrus and some earthy notes. TonyBeerdain (4) - - FEB 12, 2014 does not count
Poured out of a can into a snifter.
Bubblegum, pineapple, dank fresh and citrusy hops.
Dark gold, tinges of orange and amber. Opaque. Thin creamy white head quickly dissipates; lacing lasts on the side of the glass. Low to moderate carbonation.
Hop bitterness and flavors lead the way. As is not uncommon in highly-hopped beers, it is difficult to detect a distinguishable malt flavor, although it’s no doubt there due to a quick venture into sweet flavors before once again being pelted with hop flavors and bitterness, which returns at the end and leaves a lasting impression in the jowls. Despite this being a double IPA, the flavors feel well-placed (not overly hoppy while still having a great hop presence, if that makes any sense.)
Mostly medium-bodied, although the hop bitterness makes it feel a bit more full. Smoothly slips over the tongue.
It’s a great double IPA. Hits its marks on aroma, flavor and mouthfeel. Very drinkable, and the 8.8% is hidden well up front. If I was a douche bag (I’d like to think I’m not), I’d dock it for being opaque. It’d be nice for the head to stay around a bit and to have a bit more carbonation to continue surfacing the nice array of hop aromas throughout the glass. devman171 (1221) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - FEB 3, 2014
Bottle pours orangeish yellow, aroma is big citrus and floral notes, taste is fairly sweet finish on top of the bitterness, decent
