Nebco are hop specialists, sure, but this is one very solid porter and shows they got a well rounded portfolio. It pours a thick heavy stouty brown with a medium frothy head. The taste is very malty cocoa, some light smoke, a heap of toffee/coffee roast, and creamy milky aftertaste. Very nice and drinkable, but thick and rich leaning towards stout mouthfeel over a thin baltic porter angle. One imagines it would avoid a "garbage water" condemnation from those unpresent. Good for wrapping up a Steely Dan youtube k-hole with some Ravi Shankar ragas and a tummy full of deli meats. boto (2263) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - JAN 14, 2016
Draught @ Brewery: This one pours a dark brown color. There was a small tan head on it. It has a nice aroma. Some coffee and chocolate notes. Also some roast and caramel. The taste is similar. Very smooth and easy drinking. Beergeek23322 (2643) - Chester, Virginia, USA - OCT 11, 2013
10/11/2013. On tap at Willi Brew in CT. A solid porter with dark fruit, sweet malt and chocolate aromas. Good balance and finishes a little sweet. Damico (3150) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Pours dark unclear chestnut roasted brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma and flavor bring pure rich toasted malt flavor, a bit nutty. The body is so rich and a bit creamy for the lower ABV making it a delightful treat. runtime (6) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 4, 2013 does not count
I had a growlette of this filled at NEBCO. The color is dark brown with a short light tan head. Its aroma has coffee, light roasted malts, some brown sugar. The taste demonstrates similar qualities of the aroma, it is sweet, but in a low-key way. The body is medium, finishes with a faint bitterness. A great porter from the crew at NEBCO. It drinks easily and the 32ozer is easy take solo.

Sampled at Willibrew. Pours very dark brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, light smoke and chocolate and coffee, and a little hops. Flavor the same with a dry finish. Average texture. A good porter. Tylerbp6 (41) - - SEP 26, 2013
Growler from the brewery, tons of coffee and chocolate notes. Great look and flavor.

Draft at the Gingerman. Pour had a dark brown color with a thick light brown head. Aroma has roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and light hops. Mouth feel is a solid medium with a nice lactose texture. Flavor really busts out the malts, medium roast level, bitter chocolate, coffee beans, and again the lactose. Really a solid beer and with a touch of oats this woukd kick ass. Draught at Plan B. Pours dark brown with a thin light brown head. Smells of roasted malt, coffee, ash, some licorice. Tastes sweet and spicy with some grainy undertones and a bitter licorice finish. Enjoyable. Reynolds314 (3477) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 10, 2012
NEBCO continues to roll out great offerings. I used to stay away from these guys and I dont know why. I was missing out on some great beer right here in CT. Really flavorful lactose, chocolate, coffee porter with a smooth nice finish.
