Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is oak, dark chocolate, raspberry. Medium mouthfeel with rich roasted malt, raisin, oak, dark chocolate and nice sweet finish. Good. MacBoost (1901) - Victor, New York, USA - JUN 28, 2014
375ml, 2013 vintage. Via trade extra. Pours a viscous black with a thin tan head. Heavy bourbon notes in the aroma, along with some round marshmallow, oak, coffee and roasted malt. Taste is very, very bourbon forward. Like, a shot of straight bourbon thrown into an imperial stout. This is the most bourbon focused bourbon barrel aged imperial stout I’ve ever tasted. Seriously boozy, but not hot. Alcohol is kept in check. So much marshmallow, vanilla, oak that it hides the base beer completely. I’m not going to say that this is a boozy mess, because it isn’t. It’s just very bourbon focused, which apparently was the brewers intent. Any coffee, roast or hops take a back seat in this bus driven by Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Finish is straight bourbon, followed by more bourbon. And a touch of bourbon. Fucken awesome. RussianDragon (578) - - JUN 6, 2014
375 ml bottle is 2013 vintage. Pours a nearly black and dark brown at the crest. The aroma is unusual, with wood barrels, alcohol, and tannins outweighing roasted malt. The flavor is atypical as well, with a dominant wood presence. Roasted malt and chocolate flavors play secondary roles to barrels, bourbon, and a somewhat sharp, tannic character. A great stout with peaty scotch-like notes. budznsudz (582) - Audubon, New Jersey, USA - APR 19, 2014

This is one of the greatest beers ever. Pours like motor oil with a two finger brown/black head, smells of a shit ton of bourbon with a lot of vanilla and chocolate. Taste a lot like bourbon with some vanilla and coffee hints along with with it, there is some alcohol burn along with it. tom10101 (6087) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 24, 2014
Bottle (375 ml). Labeled "Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout". From Reynolds314, thanks Matt! Dark brown (almost black) with a medium fully lasting brown head and some lacing. Aroma is rich with chocolate, caramel, bourbon, coffee, vanilla, marshmallow and fruity notes. Taste is even more complex with moderate sweetness, bourbon, toffee/caramel, chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, coffee, fruity notes and a warming finish. Medium to full body. Moderate carbonation. Fluffly/creamy mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Very complex and tasty. Drinkable for the style (the low abv help). Amazingly rich. Superb! beechner224 (1024) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - JAN 11, 2014

Pours a thick black with a beige head of foam. Bourbon and roast and vanilla beans come through in the aroma. Sweet and roasty taste. Thick mouthfeel. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - NOV 21, 2013
12oz. bottle labeled New England Bourbon Aged Imperial Stout. Aroma is toffee, chocolate, bourbon, creme egg, and mochachino. Pours deep brown black with a swirly thick brown head. The head lingers in a beautiful way. Taste is damn near perfect. Milk chocolate, toffee, bourbon, roast coffee, dark fruits, and brown sugar. Everything is balanced with a great sweet chocolate candy taste balancing out a roasted stout. I am very impressed with this one and will be seeking it out again.
