Draught at the brewery, 6/4/16. bellco33 (838) - Willington, Connecticut, USA - JAN 25, 2015
Pale gold with light brass highlights and a good clarity. White head atop shows strong retention.
Leafy, mineral-driven, almost wet earth-like hop notes in the nose are joined by more traditional nectarine, orange and lemon. Pretty pungent/poignant and with some cracker and light sourdough-like malts behind it. Very aromatic, clean and with no alcohol or flaw.
Dry, earthy and with moderate citrus and yellow fruits on top of slightly grainy sourdough-like malts with plentiful cracker. Not the softest of textures and it’s very dry overall but the hop character is fantastic, as it always seems to be with this brewery. Moderate, mostly engaging carbonation.
Poured on tap at the brewery in a sample glass: Pours straw with a thin white head. Aroma of floral hops, fruit, grass, and bread. Taste is mildly bitter with a lot of floral and fruit notes. Smooth drinker, medium to high carbonation, nice beer. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 18, 2015
32oz growler in a teku. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of floral and fruity/citrusy hops, some some pale and light caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A pretty good beer. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - JAN 14, 2015
Growler thanks to Jesse! Thanks! Perfect base beer, light body and sweetness really the best showcasing for the hop. Great berry and fruity flavors, crisp and high carb. This is an amazing summer drinker Reynolds314 (3477) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 13, 2015
This beer is a bonafied charmer, so much so that I actually added a beer. Pours a straw golden crystal clear. Aroma is pear, floral, light melon and citrus. Taste is very lightly bitter with a mild fruity sweetness. Dry finish after a light candy sweet start. Great beer.
