Bottle… Clear golden pour with dirty orange highlights and a small, fat-bubbled, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a marriage of caramel and earthy hops. Full-bodied and fatty with mild carbonation. The flavor emulates the nose while presenting a nice balance between bitter and sweet. Lengthy, moderately sweet finish. Bottle courtesy of ctipping! ICEatALAMO (1351) - Troy, Michigan, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Bottle. The pour is a ruby red/copper color. The aroma is typical barleywine. The taste is just an average barleywine. Not impressed.
