COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

On draft at NEBCO. The pour is a darker golden color with a thin ring of off white head and a little bit of soapy lace. The aroma is really interesting. There is a bit of hop and a nice maltiness, but I’m definitely not a fan of the malt. Light fruitiness to it. The flavor is a bit more malty. There is a grassy hop that is decent, but the malts I didn’t care for. The mouth feel is th Ike’s and more softly carbonated with a lingeringly sweet tropical fruit and malt aftertaste. It’s pretty itndresting, but I’d expected more from the flagship.

Sample at NEBCo with koleminer20. Aroma is floral, sweet tropical fruit, some pine, some malt bitterness. Appearance is golden amber, mostly clear, off white head. Taste is grass, floral, pine, tropical sweetness, malt. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light crisp carbonation, pine bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall, decent but not nearly their best.

Tap at Plan B. Mostly clear light orange pour with a white clingy head. Nice citrus IPA - low malt. Hint of dank. Nice hop bite with a clean finish. Quite solid.

Got in a BIF from tasterschoice62. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange rind, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice IPA. All around great juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours a cloudy, amber-orange color with a huge, spongy head. Smells of a skunky grassiness, together with herbs and bready malts. Has a subdued layer of fruits hidden underneath the herbs, coming to light as the beer warms up. This adds a nice complexity to the nose, while the hops in this still produce a well nuanced noble profile. Has a medium carbonation among a pleasantly soft mouthfeel with a bubbly, bitter finish. Tastes of bready malts and herbal, dank hops, providing a leafy bitterness from the very beginning. Malts get a late toffee addition, while the hops produce a lemon peel crispness, blending well into the herbs, tied together by a mineralic, yet soft, quality. Finishes almost tropical, citrus remains on the palate, while developing a juicy crispness, while the herbs vanish slowly, still reminding of its bready origin. Well put together, while featuring a surprisingly european hop bill, allowing fruity qualities to cut through, enriching the beers taste by a fair margin. Malts provide a consistent breadyness, catching up with the herbal hops in a very pleasant fashion.
