Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew. Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart.

Bottle from Kevin42. Pour is dark like Coca-Cola, with a very thin ring of bubbles. Nose is slight-a little malty and caramel. First taste notes are roasted malts, coffee, and just a little bit of hops. Mouthfeel is thick and coating. Finish is dirty and a little sour (like coffee sour). A very refreshing beer. This would make for a great dessert beer. The best thing about this sweet stout is that the brewer didnt go overboard with the sweet. Very well balanced and enjoyable.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2004 Deep brown/black color, short tan head, very nice lacing. Smells like perfectly sweetened coffee. Taste is vinous and smooth; coffee down the center along with cream and sugar; sides of the tongue are lightly roasted and just slightly sour. Finish is long and full flavored. Great stuff! (thanks Louis 1233456green!)

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2007 Tasted and looked like cold coffee, deep blackish brown color, thin head for a stout. (8/5/9/4/17) Rerate (replaced on 7/23/07) - Had this one bottled, thanks Jim! Opaque black pour with a thin, foamy tan head, mild chocolate and coffee nose, pronounced soy sauce especially in the finish, mild and bitter. Decent.

bottle, pours a deep black with an almost brown head, aroma smacks you in the face with the coffee scent. full deep taste very rich. coffee flavor is very strong, but also has a creamy malt to it. this has a wonderful mouth feel. the finish is consistant with the overall coffee theme with a bit of chocolate that makes you go back for more. very nice.

12 oz bottle: rusty charcoal with a toffee colored cream. Aroma like just used coffee grinds discarded in the waste basket (I actually like that smell). If this was coffee, it would be overly creamed, but as a stout this palate works alright. Good bit of sweetness, some oatmeal, and fine Bakers chocolate. Quick, slightly thin finish with an after-taste that is more chocolate than coffee. Would work well as a breakfast beer or an after dinner/late evening treat. . .

Pours black with no head. Aroma of coffee(costa rican) with a hint of chocolate. flavor is of coffee, oatmeal, and chocalate, but only a little of the non-coffee flavors come through. Thin, very thin. Very drinkable, but definitely not "full-bodied.

Very deep garnet-black, brownish head that lingers well. Heavy roasted aroma and flavor that finishes long and complex. Wouldnt call this a sweet stout. but a very good one.

Pretty good, I definately see why it is coffee stout. Pours a very dark brown, with a thick foamy tan head. fairly thick mouth feel, worth having again.

Purple and black in colour with a thin and very kinetic quickly discipating tan head. The nose is sweet with liquorice suggar and coffie beans. THe taste is roasted fofee and milky chocolate, almost overly sweet. Bitter finish and crisp and silky. Not all that bad. Just not my style.

Rich and full-flavored. Very dark with roasted coffee bean and some chocolate aromas. Mildy sweet-kinda like a carbonated coffee-a good way to start the day.
