Dark brown almost black appearance with a 1 fingure white head. Aroma was yeast with coffee and hints of roasted malts. On the palate there was a Belgian yeast followed by coffee and finishing with mild roasted malts. Mouthfeel was medium with nice carbonation for a stout. Solid stout overall but nothing special.

Intense, dark roast coffee, dark, toasted malts, chocolate. Hazy black, medium, creamy, beige head. Light bitter and sweet. More dark, sweet, toasted malts, chocolate, dry, but not too bitter finish, soft carbonation. Very decent Stout, well-balanced, nice coffee in aroma. Smells delicious - coffee, dark roasted malt, cocoa. A dark brown/black with light head. Taste is smooth coffee, bitter chocolate, and roasted malt. Body dry, bitter, full, but a little light. More of a dry American stout; not a heavy ABV.

Pours deep brown hue with a small soapy light tan head and some ghostly lacing. Nose of coffee dusty esters slightly grainy and roast. Flavors really show the roast and dusty estwrs. Very lite body. Pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma consists of coffee, vanilla, roasted malt, and hints of chocolate. Coffee theme dominates here. The taste quite dry and has a very heavy coffee flavor. There is plenty of roasted malts still, as well as a healthy amount of chocolate. The aftertaste is a milder coffee. This is medium in body, has a more creamy texture, and some lively carbonation, much more than is typical for this style. Maybe not one of my favorite stouts, its still a solid offering.
