COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper Kettle Weiss is designed in the traditional style of a dark wheat beer. Rich malt flavors are accentuated through our complicated decoction mash and finally balanced with select Hallertau hops.

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a fast disappearing orange head - surprisingly fast disappering considering it’s a wheat beer. The aroma is quite sharp with notes of caramel, wheat, plastic, and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat and caramel. The body is quite filling.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, orange-golden body, with a dense, white head. Strange nose, but I like it, with umami and sea-salt. Sweet, pale-malty flavor with a little sour touch and wheat. Medium body, quite effervescent. Sweet, umami finish. Nice, strange and complex. (080118)

Bottle from trade with shigadeyo. Poured cloudy copper color with a large fizzy off-white head that was lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus, clove, and wheat aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet citrus flavor with a smooth sweet finish of an average duration. Solid drinkable beer.

3.2
Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 13, 2007
A hazy golden weiss with a thin white head. A strong banana aroma with fruity esters, and ginger. In mouth, a decent banana and cream, but rather short and lifeless, in the end. Tasted at "Montréal YeHA! Party 2006" . Dec. 16 2006.

bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2010
(12oz bottle) Pours a lightly hazy golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, wheat, light apricot, nuts, clove, and basement. Flavor of wheat, caramel, citrus, and light clove with a dry finish.

3.5
hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 10, 2007
12oz bottle acquired in multiple trades. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber/orange color with a huge sized off white head. Aromas of yeast, bananas, cloves, and wheat. Tastes of wheat, light bananas (fruity), yeast, and a trace of spices. Medium to higher carbonation.

3.2
Sammy (12762) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 26, 2006
Chocolate amber colour with some white head. Some wheat aroma. While drinkable with wheat bannana creaminess, essentially harsh lemon and orange peel and aggressive carbonation leads to drying finish. Some spices, clove, and quaffable. Thanks jpm30 for indulging me.
