COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you dream of wheat this brew will get your toes tapping. Since 1995 we have brewed Bavarian style wheat beers exclusively for the same great state that grows and malts our own Wisconsin wheat. In a world full of posers this is a true hefe-weizen naturally 100% bottle fermented and hazy.

Expect this beer to cascade effervescent into your glass. The rich spicy clove and cinnamon notes will greet your nose while sweet fruit and wheat kisses your lips.

Lick the foam from your mouth and admit sometimes you just gotta get up and dance.

Truly the best Hefe’ i’ve ever had. It’s not too much, but not too subtle. I love the scent of cloves and cinnamon. Beautiful straw color and lacing on the glass. By far my favorite brew from New Glarus. It’s a definate must try for any wheat beer fan.

This was a great experience. Tingly, sweet, beautiful. Everything you’d want in a hefeweizen.

Pours a bright gold with a thick white head that dissipates in an appropriate time. Keeps a nice thin layer of white over the top. Smells of banana and clove. First taste is banana with a lingering clove finish.

Nice aroma of cinnamon and clove hit your nose right when you open the bottle. Appearance is golden yellow in color with a nice fading white head. Taste of clove and some spices hit your taste buds. medium body, lively carbonation Also sits well on the palate. Overall another solid beer from New Glarus.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2008 Pours a cloudy light orange color with a rather large head. Aroma of banana, cloves, and light citrus. Nicely carbonated, beautiful sweetness. This is everything that a hefeweizen should be.

Based on 1.5 bottles and one more to come i think this might be one of the best beers ever. hands down the best German hefe, even over weihenstephaner. uber creamy texture. rich and smooth vanilla, banana, and bubblegum. just totally balanced and delicious. God damn it. Now, i’m just pissed that i’ll probably never be able to have this again and that i missed all their other hefeweizens.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a slightly orange hue. Head is soft and pillowy white. Aroma is strong with clove, banana, and hints of cinnamin and ginger. Clove burst onto the tongue with some spice mixed in. Banana brilliantly comes into play in the middle, leaving you with a spicy banana bread finish. Full bodied and highly carbonated; a little less body would be perfect, but this is so close. I’ve been drinking tons of this since it was released, and will continue drinking it until it’s all gone. I hope they continue making this one; it is a masterpiece. Another amazing beer from an amazing brewer. Do not change the recipe!

When I imagine a beer, I imagine something that will leave me with a memory. This brew fits the description perfectly. It pours a beautiful gold color reminiscent of a normal beer. What discerns this brew from the rest are the scents emanating from the brim of my glass. Odors of bananas and cloves take over the immediate surroundings of the glass. Since my first taste, all I can imagine is bananas and cloves. As far as wheat beers are concerned this one takes the cake....phenomenal!!

Frozer (240) - Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2014
Poured golden cloudy yellow with clean white frothy head. Strong banana smell. So strong it has an essence of bubble gum. Taste is also bubble gum with mice mouthfeel and a spicy finish which is probably attributed to the Bavarian yeast. A very good representation of the style.
