3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to stfun. Pours a pale straw golden yellow with thick white head, minimal lacing. Aroma obvious of wheat, slight hops, citrus, and banana. Flavor matches well and is pretty smooth and well balanced. Mouthfeel is dry and leaves a lasting wheat flavor in the mouth.
12 oz. bottle. Pours an unclear, bright yellow color, with a medium, fizzy, white head. The aroma is straw, banana, orange juice, cloves, and lemon zest. Sweet and doughy, with a light, crisp, bitter finish. Light to medium body, with a chewy, creamy mouthfeel, and a lovely, sharp finish. This is simply fantastic. poisoneddwarf (2563) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - AUG 14, 2017
12 oz bottle from the variety pack. Pours cloudy golden with a thick off-white head with great retention. Aroma is clove, bubblegum, banana, wheat, peppery. Taste is sweet and spicy with noticeable but not overwhelming alcohol. Flavors match the aroma. Just like a real German weizenbock. So good. bubblehouse (1540) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUL 4, 2017
Has a real banana flavor to it. Just a really good solid beer all the way around jmohno (1628) - Iowa, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Light orange, fluffy head, hazy. Zesty bannna and clove aroma. Citrus and fruit , clove is bigger in taste, spice, zesty finish. 7.2%? thats bigger than the average hefeweizen. Soft, somewhat slick. Peppery citrus finish. Pretty good , Im not big on clove, this is more clove forward. StoutBeerReviews (172) - Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 27, 2017
VERY tasty and smooth. nothing offensive here whatsoever. bit of clove and sweetness and extremely drinkable. new glarus has one heck of a reputation for being some of the smoothest beers around.

Bottle at Uber Tap Room with GLBTQ crew. Weird flute glass. Hazy yellow and golden with minimal head. Nose has traditional banana and cloves with a light funk. Taste is a pleasant banana with wheat undertones. Very much in the vein of other hefeweizens I’ve sampled. Easy to drink hiding the alcohol well. A good representation of the style. I would ask this to join me on the dance floor for an Eric Clapton track at least one more time. randy1969 (53) - Marengo, Illinois, USA - JUN 14, 2017
From the tap at Tofflers Pub and Grill in New Glarus. Pours hazy golden colored with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma if sweet banana, apples, and cinnamon.. Flavor is malts, banana, pears and apples. Decent, but I just smell a little too much banana and cinnamon for my liking jbruner (4791) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 28, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 28, 2017 Pours a hazy yellow on tap with bubbly white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of mild banana and clove esters over a nice sweet malty wheat underneath. Taste is bigger on all aspects, but smooth and clean with a very light body. Wow, open fermented goodness. trentejgordon (5) - - MAY 16, 2017 does not count

12 oz. bottle. Hazy orange. Big white head. Smells of clove, banana, wheat, bubblegum, and a little fruity yeastiness. Tastes much more wheaty. Banana. Spicy clove in the back end. A little bubblegum in the finish with sweet banana fruitiness lingering. High carbonation. Medium body. I don’t drink a lot of hefes, so I don’t have a lot of comparison knowledge, but I’m really impressed.
