COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
100% Wisconsin malt of six different varieties impart the natural toasted color to the bottle conditioned unfiltered ale. Clean hazelnut notes result from these carefully chosen barley malts. Hops from Slovenia, Bavaria and the Pacific Northwest give Fat Squirrel its backbone.

Bottle pours caramel color with faintly yellow head. Malty aroma. taste caramel malt and nuts, bread. Clean slightly dull mild hop finish, none of the unpleasant finish you find in some nut brown ales. Full palate. Very drinkable.

Caramel color with a malty aroma. Great malty flavor, almost creamy feeling with a nutty finish on the back of your tongue. Great gateway beer into the nuttier sort.

Sweet malty caramel smell. Light brown in color with a white head. Lots of malt flavor. I like nuttyness too. Similar to Fat Tire, but much better. At $7 a six pack, this is great!

Hazy Brown with a touch of crimson, filmy head, mild carbonation and good lacing. Very roasty nose with chocolate, hazelnets, roasted barley and some mild hoppiness. Flavor is fairly roasty and chocolate forward with some nutty notes, roasted barley & malts and some mild floral hoppiness. Body is fairly light with some pretty strong carbonation. Very tasty brown ale!

Poured into a snifter tasting glass from a bottle. The beer has a amber color. There was a good mix of aromas: nut, caramel, vanilla, and fruit (peach). The beer had a clean, smooth, crisp sweet finish.
