Bottle. Thanks to adnielsen for sharing at the Midwest Beer Summit 2012. Straw, grain aromas and flavor. Average german pilsener. backdaft (286) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow. Thin white head with some delicate lacing. Aroma is almost nonexistent; maybe some grassy notes. Flavor is light bready malts balanced well with hops. Not too bitter or overpowering. Well carbonated with a crisp spicy finish. hogan873 (451) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Pale golden body with a thick, clinging white head. The aroma is light but inviting. Biscuit, hops, and spice. Smooth mouthfeel with nice carbonation towards the end. Flavor is good if not exciting. Semi-sweet up front with cracker and biscuit notes. It finishes with a decent hoppy bite. Another good beer from New Glarus.

12 oz bottle served in a COAST brewing curved pint. Split with the fiancee.
A: Pours a solid gold color with a pure white head forming on pour. It recedes slowly to a thick cap with tons of sticky lace.
S: Sticky German hops with that specific spicy bite. Pale malts with a little bit of mineral-like qualities to it.
T: Typical German hop profile, slightly gluey with pale cracker malt and some wheat like qualities. Lightly spiced hop quality as well.
M: Light bodied with a medium high carbonation level. Slightly sweet finish.
O: Pretty typical German style lager. The hops are the star which is standard for the style. Nothing mind blowing.

Golden with lots of bubbles but a small head. Aroma of hops. Smooth and dry with no bitterness. A full bodied pilsener

Pours a golden amber with off-white head. Aroma of grains & grass with some mild hoppiness. Flavor follows aroma, but introduces some honey notes and a bitterness on the finish. marchcow (664) - Coralville, Iowa, USA - AUG 28, 2007
Pilsner style aroma with light lemon and hops. Classic pilsner colors with a foamy head. Mild malt and hops flavors, mild bitterness, citrus notes, some hay. Lightly creamy palate, well carbonated and a crisp finish. Balanced towards bitter on the duration, light overall. A good pilsner. axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 8, 2007
Poured a clean straw yellow body with a small white foam that left some nice lace. Aroma was earthy yeast and subtle sugary hops. Flavors are sweetbread, cookie, sweet white grapes and a mint/menthol finish all acompanied by a nice earthiness through-out. highibus (821) - Vail, Arizona, USA - DEC 20, 2007
Clean blonde color with creamy thick head. Smells of bright hops and light malt. Nice hop presence for this pilsner. Balanced nicely with a light malt presence. Palate is light. A nice beer for the style. Thanks to Bockyhorsey for this one. pintsize (1042) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2008
Clear bubbly yellow. Smells malty and quite doughy. Sweet yeast flavor that actually tastes quite like sourdough bread. Not a style that I usually prefer - but this is definitely one of the better pilseners that I have had.
