Bottle thanks to Badbeer poured a clear gold color with a nice white head. Aroma was pilsner malt with a touch of honey and hops. The flavor was clean and smooth with a decent hop bitterness. Taste was more of an ale than a lager so im not sure what it really is. kreepindeth (404) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 4, 2007
Herbal hop aroma. Pours a transparent straw color with a quickly dissipating bright white head.mouthfeel is medium to thin but very quenching. Very nice clean bitter hop kick in the finish. prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 5, 2007
I’m not sure why I don’t like this beer. All the ingredients are there for a great brew to be loved by me, but I think it’s a little acidy, and there was something not quite right about the mouth-feel of the beer. Not the best beer from a pretty good brewery. From a bottle. tjthresh (1873) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - AUG 12, 2007

Poured pale golden yellow with some white head. Very hoppy with herbal and spice notes. Good malt back bone with a bitter punch. Dry finish. Nice.
RBSG 07 Minneapolis Grand Tasting: Pale yellow, light head and lacing. Nose of skunky hops and salty malt. The flavor is malty, husky, some malts. Clean, balanced. Ok.

Poured light color with small white foam head. Flavors of sweet cookies, and a solid mint undertone. The german stylings of this are eveident in all aspects of this brew. SHANER4 (507) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 26, 2007
12oz bottle - Poured slightly hazy straw color with small head. Has a wheat beer taste with some spice. My brother bought me a 12 pac of New Glarus for Christmas and had 4 different varieties of brew. This one is probably the best. A light beer and very easy to drink. Could hardly taste any hops. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - FEB 6, 2008
Thanks to Ughsmash for this. Pours cloudy murky orange with a small white head. Fruity and spicy nose. Intersting for a pilsner, not as crisp and floral on the hops, cloudy and a bit to fruity, but a good beer. Earthy and grassy hops show their bitterness more then their floral characters, citrusy fruity flavors show with a bit of spiciness in the finish. lithy (2996) - Capital of Appalachia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 16, 2009
Bottle thanks to Skyview. Lightly hazy yellow-orange with a smooth white head, very herbal spicy hop note some earthy sweet hay malts in the aroma. Taste is peppery malty, too much like a Helles, warm hay, grassy hops, not that refreshing. andyhwcinc (1886) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Purchased at Breeze Thru Wine & Spirits in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed at home on a Thursday night while doing some work. Appearance is a pale, clear yellow with a very thin white head that slightly rims around the glass. Aroma is slightly sweet, hay, yeast, not bad. Taste is crisp and clean, not unlike other New Glarus brews. It’s one of my least favorite styles, and New Glarus does a decent job with it, but I’d still prefer other NG brews over this one.
