COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In playful pursuit of butterflies a Red Fox danced across the brewery hill. His joy so pure it bubbled through our hearts and into this beer. Laughing Fox is a sparkling Kristal Weizen brewed in the Bavarian tradition with 50% Wisconsin wheat in our open top fermenters. Tickle your nose notes of spicy clove and cinnamon abound. Dan’s inspired Weizen interpretation reflects the deep bittersweet color of our Fox’s red coat. Expect this beer to pour a lively effervescent glass thick with creamy foam and bursting with luscious fruity notes on your pallet. This is easy drinking beer perfect for a friendly Wisconsin evening. Relax, this is God’s Country, here we have the strength to reach for the stars and change the world.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2011 Bottle @ home, courtesy of bnielsen13. Thanks Brad! Clear copper orange appearance with a big creamy, brown head. Dry wheat malty, a touch metallic, mild clove, lightly spicy, effervescent aroma. A touch tangy, mild orange citrusy, somewhat spicy, clove, dry, wheat malty flavor that again seems fairly metallic. Not a bad session beer but I far prefer its German counterparts.

Dark copper with a thick off white foam. The aroma is thin, light caramel, lots of clove, some lighter banana and general fruitiness. Taste is lots of clove and banana esters, there is a light caramel, but overall this is all yeast ester and so little malt character. Kristallweizen goes in the group with Cream Ales of beer styles that can only get so good. So, all things considered, this is as good as kristallweizen gets, which doesn’t say much.

Skyview V, 11/11/11. Copper color with a medium head. Dusty grain and bubblegum aroma. Light wheat and fruit flavor. Bubblegum still prominent.

Bottle courtesy of Tripplebrew. Used my Hacker-Pschorr Weisse glass. Translucent Amber color, massive head and lace. Traditional nose and taste of a Kristall Weizen. Lots of aromatic banana character, with clove and cinnamon. Light body with a clean and refreshing finish. Another well-made wheat beer from this brewery.

12 ounce bottle that poured a clear amber color. Aromas of earth, caramel, clove, and a touch of cinnamon. Flavor is much the same with a touch of citrus, and twinge smoke.

thanks ben. Nice body with ample white head. Light bacon and bubble gum. The body has a pronounced wheat bite.

12 oz bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Whoa, pours dark, deep golden amber color, not bright and krystalweizeny. Aroma is very sweet, banana, bubblegum, caramel, very rich without some of the subtlety that weizen often need, less wheaty and spicy to me, more sweet. Flavor has a but more fruit to give balance, but still remains heavily sweet and banana, some bit of spice finishing caramel and a bit more fruit. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. Not bad but wanted more from this

Pours a clear caramel color with a huge tan head...lively...outstanding lacing and retention. aroma has light clovey spice, bubblegum, and just a bit of earthy wheat. Flavor is more on the wheaty, malty side...earthy...with a hint of bubblegum, clove, and yeasty fruitiness. Mouthfeel is light and silky and the finish is somewhat dry and spiced.
