COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In playful pursuit of butterflies a Red Fox danced across the brewery hill. His joy so pure it bubbled through our hearts and into this beer. Laughing Fox is a sparkling Kristal Weizen brewed in the Bavarian tradition with 50% Wisconsin wheat in our open top fermenters. Tickle your nose notes of spicy clove and cinnamon abound. Dan’s inspired Weizen interpretation reflects the deep bittersweet color of our Fox’s red coat. Expect this beer to pour a lively effervescent glass thick with creamy foam and bursting with luscious fruity notes on your pallet. This is easy drinking beer perfect for a friendly Wisconsin evening. Relax, this is God’s Country, here we have the strength to reach for the stars and change the world.

12 oz bottle. IT pours an interesting color for a kristalweizen, it is not a traditional one because I haven’t seen any Kristalweizen that has looked like this. It is nice and clear though. Smells like a kristal weizen, thought the banana is perhaps a bit overly intense. The flavor is very kristalweizen-y. It has a slight bit of lemon to go with the banana and clove. Not super duper true to style, but for the style it isn’t bad.

Sammy (12610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2011
Bottle from Reilly’s in Madison. Pours a gigantic white head on light orange body. Retained one-half inch of head. Spicy, slightly yeasty aroma. Mouthfeel is a tad above average. Taste is spicy and catchy, a little yeasty. Nothing like I expected, it was most drinkable. Got good cinammon.

"Another wish list item from Heybeerman, which is the case for any new Glarus I haven’t tried and many I have. Pours clear, but dark like an amber, almost red. Huge head. Both this and the winter warmer had more of a spicy belgianesque quality than expected. Fruity, crisp and clean. Light spice and fruit in the flavor. Not up to par with other wheats from NG, but among the better Krystals I’ve had. "
