This is a deep fox red with a tangy and bittersweet taste and is the best Krystal Weisen out there. It has complex flavor characteristics. nsvorp (23) - Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 25, 2013
A beautiful copper red pour with nice carbonation. Great flavors of spice and wheat and fruit. Look forward to this one each fall. bstroh707 (13) - West Virginia, USA - DEC 7, 2011
This is one uniquely crisp, refreshing beer! I was impressed with the crisp aftertaste and malty finish for a beer this jubilant. The aroma is almost a bubble gummy type gummy bear feel to it...in an ever-striking pleansant fashion. I could call it floral with a hint of fruit or citrus, yet, there’s a certain malty finish that leaves no bitter aftertaste. They’ve captured a unique style here with this krystalweitzen and I would agree that this is a beer unlike any other I can think of.
The only drawback is the less than 5.0% ABV. I would like to see them add a little more ABV to this somehow. Patrickctenchi (6630) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Bottle, courtesy the Shrubber:
Pours just slightly hazed, redcopper with a a big, solid, tan head.
Sweet, woody malt, cloves and cinnamon aroma....a little hot spice.

Bottle courtesy of arkurzynski - much thanks. Banana, clove, and toffee wheat malt aroma. Clear amber color with giant tan head. Lightly sweet banana, clove, and toffee wheat malt flavor. Nice body and highly carbonated. Excellent - a Dunkel Kristallweizen.

Pours a clear nutty copper with thick frothy tan tinged head. Aroma is earthy nut, bubblegum, malts. Flavor is bubblegum, caramel and almond. Body is light yet creamy with definite carbonation. Efeswasmy1st (15) - LaCrosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 20, 2012
Poured from bottle into pint glass.
Aroma is heavy on banana, clove, some vanilla Similar to their Dancing Man Wheat.
Appearance is outstanding. Pour amber orange, and a frothy tan foam so thick was similar to a root beer float.
Taste has a medium sweetness and lightly sour.
Palate is light in body, slick and fizzy on the tongue.
Fun, different than average fall/winter beer.

Amazing. Wheat balanced with mildly sweet fruitiness. Extremely drinkable, well balanced, clean, delicious wlajwl (6886) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 13, 2012
Aroma is yeast, a hint of dark fruit/grapes and very funky. The flavor is bananas, berries/dark fruit, malts and a very noticeable funkiness all around and into the finish. bpreo (2863) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - DEC 23, 2012
This may be my first Kristallweizen. A filtered Hefeweizen, but it still retains all the best flavors.
