Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Don’t let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

From a bottle. Aroma is grapefruit. Flavor is grapefruit and a little bit of bright bitterness. Not much depth. Quite acidic. Not really my cup of tea.

Tap. Golden amber, creamy golden lace. Mellow earthy berry nose. Medium light body, hay and cracker malt, light oxidation, grassy, peachy, berrylike hops, grassy bitterness on the palate.

MNAle (207) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 9, 2017
Moderately strong citrus-dominated aroma. Clear pale gold, 1/2 inch thick only slightly off-white head, leaving plenty of lacing. Moderate amount of visible bubbles. Thick and smooth mouth feel for the style. Very slight initial bittering that quickly fades away. The flavor is mostly from the hops, and is a very nice orange juice citrus; not bitter acid citrus like many have. Very mild and smooth contribution from the malts. The aftertaste is juicy orange fading nicely inviting another drink. Absolutely wonderful. This one might cause me to drive to Hudson more often!

Bottle, courtesy Drake. Many thanks! Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is juicy citrus: grapefruit and orange mostly with hints of peel as well. Notes of floral hops too. Flavor is slightly juicy: orange, grapefruit, mango, with a hint of grasses and a pinch of grain. Good.

12 oz bottle from a six pack, bought in Superior, WI. Aroma is dough, citrus peel, melon. Pours clear golden with a thick off-white fluffy head with great retention and some lace. Taste is lightly bitter with balancing candy sweetness alongside; a hint of green bud lingering in the finish. A little thinner than I was expecting. Really good.

Horrible. Tastes like vinegar. Very bitter. Something you have to acquire a taste for i suppose.

Bottle. Pours golden orange with a white head. Plain herbal notes, some light grainy and sweet malts, mild fruity notes, and a touch of bitterness. Fine.
