COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Don’t let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

Moon Man is nickname given to online depictions of the McDonald’s mascot Mac Tonight, which is associated with a text-to-speech voice reciting racist parodies of various rap songs. The character is often depicted as a member of the Ku Klux Klan, who advocates using violence against non-white minorities.

Floral and crisp up front, picking up a light nutty maltiness on the back of the palate with a dry hop backbone. Medium length, sessionable.

Can from a friend. Finally getting to try this one after many years. Gold pour with a white head, nose is florals, citrus, lightly bitter and fresh. Smooth palate, flood of citrus up front, florals, light fruit and a clean finish.

Definitely a good surprise coming out of a can. A great American Pale Ale, with lots of hoppy flavors.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a nice white head and thin lacing. Aromas of mild citrus hops, bread, and malt. Not very bitter, slightly sweet.

Tap. Golden amber, creamy golden lace. Mellow earthy berry nose. Medium light body, hay and cracker malt, light oxidation, grassy, peachy, berrylike hops, grassy bitterness on the palate.

MNAle (234) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 9, 2017
Moderately strong citrus-dominated aroma. Clear pale gold, 1/2 inch thick only slightly off-white head, leaving plenty of lacing. Moderate amount of visible bubbles. Thick and smooth mouth feel for the style. Very slight initial bittering that quickly fades away. The flavor is mostly from the hops, and is a very nice orange juice citrus; not bitter acid citrus like many have. Very mild and smooth contribution from the malts. The aftertaste is juicy orange fading nicely inviting another drink. Absolutely wonderful. This one might cause me to drive to Hudson more often!

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2017 Draught - light gold, not clear, but not cloudy - nice citrus (grapefruit), slightly hoppy, clean finish - personal impression: did not disappoint - good beer
