Bottled, thanks pantanap! Hazy orange brown. Peculiar aroma where oak and bourbon meets cherries. Sweet with lots of cherries, only slight oaky tartness. Low bitterness. Well made, but the combination of bourbon and cherries doesn’t seem to be optimal. madmitch76 (25537) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2012

Clear pink - amber beer. Short lived pale cream coloured head. Crispy palate, semi dry. Nice cherry, mildly tart. Very well balanced with mild oaky vanilla and bourbon. Dry finish. Really tasty beer, unusual and well balanced.
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet oaky nose with quite some underlying berry sweetness. Medium body, quite sweet cherries and vanilla with a slightly tart edge. Not entirely sure about this. 311011 jtclockwork (17264) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 25, 2010
Bottle shared at Mikey’s tasting. Clear amber pour. Nose of muted cherry and light tartness. Taste of lightly tart cherries and cinnamon. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 3, 2011
A: The pour is amber in color with a creamy off white head.
S: A big time cherry pie aroma to this one, shockingly similar to Wisconsin Belgian Red. A bit of a caramel and malt sweetness along with some bourbon and vanilla. I get very minimal tartness.
T: Cherries and a cherry pie type flavor are what this one is all about. Again, caramel, toffee, bourbon, and vanilla. Surprisingly sweet for a kriek. Seems more like a bourbon barrel aged Wisconsin Belgian Red.
M: The body is medium and so is the level of carbonation.
D: Very disappointing, I must say. I do like their Belgian Red, but I was expecting something that is a little more of a departure from the same beer that you can get year round.
