Bottle at MN Gathering @ Skyview V. Mostly clear pour that is dirty yellow with a small white head. Nose is spot on with the peeling of a plum. Medium palate. Hugely sour taste, fruit, grape, and slight brett. Awesome. hivemind (916) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 2, 2011
Bottle courtesy of James, shared with James and Streets. Pours a mirky, muddy yellow-brown with no head. Aroma is of wild berries and yeast (and maybe even some banana?). Palate is very tart and sour, but not excruciatingly so, and without much vinegar present. I get raspberry and either melon, peach, or some other non-citrus, non-acidic fruit. Perfect balance of tartness/acidity, dry fruitiness, and funk. Very wild stuff. jredmond (8338) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 1, 2011

Bottle from Adam -thanks! Pours a semi-hazy cider yellow with a quickly fading white head and steady carbonation. Aroma is light tart, subtle funk, and a bit of a vinuous or white wine note. Taste is straight forward medium sour with lemon and perhaps white wine grapes in the middle and a nice bit of tartness on the finish. I do not get any funk, cheese rind, etc. in the taste. I like the beer. Crisp, enjoyable sour but does not taste like any of the gueuze that I have had thus far. Good beer nonetheless.
