The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewel-like sparkle of a very special ale. Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth-watering berries, which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats. Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.

15/VIII/15 - 75cl bottle @ We’re drinking all of Rich’s American beers tasting - BB: n/a (2015-1083) Thanks to omgrich for sharing the bottle!

Clear copper red brown beer, small irregular beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very weird, sweet, bit sugary, lots of raspberry candy, sickening sweet aroma, raspberry flavoured yoghurt. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet and sugary, raspberry jam, bit acidic, tart touch, little lemony. Aftertaste: bit metallic, raspberry candy, lemony, sugary, meh.

At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. Raspberry tart with a medicine mixed with raspberry jam. A berry jam light brown. Light spritzy body and dry finish. Very very sweet and jammy raspberry. Alright but too sweet.

Have had this before...surprised I haven’t rated it. This is a mix of current pour and memory. Glowing red with some brown and moderate lacing. Recall loads of raspberry jam and dried raspberry...this latest has a distinct burnt marshmallow streak, but only I got it so maybe I’m crazy. Taste follows...recall raspberry jam, and dry tart raspberries...this latest has mostly burnt marshmallow over indistinct fruit.

My second favorite of the tart beers. This one pours a reddish pink color. Aroma is all fruit berries. Taste is pretty much raspberry juice. Some tartness, but not overwhelming.

Bottle. Clear, deep reddish-amber pour with a dissipating head. Aroma is very sweet raspberry, strawberry candy, vanilla. Flavour is likewise quite sweet, butt tastes naturally so. Delicious raspberry, very lightly tart, hints of strawberry and wheat. Probably the best fruit beer I've tried.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2015 Sample at Great Taste of the Midwest. Aroma is raspberry syrup, a lot like KRE. Some malt, mostly raspberry. Appearance is red, off white head. Taste is raspberry, crisp, preserves. Mouthfeel is crisp, like raspberry soda. Overall, this is unbelievable.

courtesy of Jérôme Rebetez - quite clear reddish beer with a poor head retention; strong aroma of raspberries jelly, a bit bubblegum-like; light herbal; full-bodied, some sourness quickly overwhelmed by a huge sweetness; light fizzy and with lot of residual sweetness and tons of raspberries notes in the finish; faint sourness - well-crafted yet clearly far too sweet

Clear blood red. Very floral raspberry nose. Tart and wine like with enormous raspberry character. Great finish.

Pours dark copper red with a small head. The nose has lots of raspberries and a hint of oak, vanilla and caramel. The taste is very ’oud bruin’ and much less tart than expected. I would go as far as saying, this isn’t tart at all. The flavour is super rich and there is clearly lots of fruit but I’m missing an acidic kick in the end for me to go into the 4’s.. This reminded me a bit of earthmonk with added raspberries. Not a bad thing.. Mouthfeel is alive with soft carb. Aftertaste is lingering and sticky sweet.
