This one sat in my fridge for months, but still poured with a decent white head over a light amber body. Aroma was of fermented fruit (duh!), but smooth. The malt was of a slightly toasty nature, followed by matching floral hoppyness. The yeast gave it a slight doughy smell/character. All in all, a smooth easy drinking fruit beer. kraybr (4) - - DEC 31, 2017 does not count
Enjoyed this beer with my wife who also approved. Good flavor. Not sweet not to sour. Full flavor and easy to drink. Only problem was the bottle went to quick. Nice fruity aroma and sparkling carbonation expected in this variety of beer.

Beautiful... slightly tart, fruity, rich but not heavy. This was a bottle acquired in '16 and consumed a year later. Great hard cider nose with cherries and cranberries rounding it out. A lightly effervescent claret-amber in color. Essence of fruits on a subtle ale base. Great sipping weight - not heavy or cloying... Outstanding... bomber shared with Shannon and Vic at Xmas. Bottle. A very kind extra received in a trade. Should you happen to read this Mark, thanks very much! Mostly clear, deep, reddy amber colour. Thin, dense, lacing, lasting, just off white head. Nose on this is awesome. It’s like liquified Bakewell tart. Loads of cherry, cherry stone, almond, cranberry, and sweet, caramelised apple. Soft, vanilla oak. Taste is sticky, ripe cherry sweet, with perfectly pitched, tangy sourness. Smooth mouthfeel. Minimal acidity. Soft carbonation. Twangy, cherry and apple to finish. Beautiful. hershiser2 (3886) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - DEC 24, 2017
Bomber courtesy of Drake. Many thanks!! Pours a pretty red with a soft pinkish-beige head. Amazing aroma: sweet dark cherry, apple, cranberry, slightly floral notes as well. Smells very fresh and fruity. Flavor matches the nose - holy shit. Wonderfully fruity - cherry juice, apple, tart cranberry, apricot, strawberry jam, rose, light earthy wood in the back end. This is amazing.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours crystal clear deep ruby red/light copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge sweet/juicy red/black cherries, cranberry, plum, red apple, pears, apricot jam, strawberry, caramel, brown sugar, and lightly toasted bread; with light notes of fruit skin, almond, vanilla, oak, funk, and yeast earthiness. Incredible aromas with amazing complexity and balance of fruits, dark/bready malt, fruity yeast, and light oak notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sweet/juicy red/black cherries, cranberry, plum, red apple, pears, apricot jam, strawberry, caramel, brown sugar, and lightly toasted bread; with light notes of fruit skin, almond, vanilla, oak, funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/acidic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of red/black cherries, cranberry, plum, red apple, pears, apricot jam, strawberry, caramel, brown sugar, bread, fruit skin, almond, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruits, dark/bready malt, fruity yeast, and light oak flavors; with a great malt and tart/tangy fruit balance, with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness tart/tangy fruit and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/grainy, and lightly slick/syrupy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an amazing fruit beer! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruits, dark/bready malt, fruity yeast, and light oak flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Enormous jammy fruit flavors, balanced malt body, and mild oak/wild yeast character. One of the best standard tasting fruit beers I have ever had. A highly enjoyable offering. Pours a cloudy copper brown with a medium, light pink head. The aroma is a bit tart. Just as the bottle advertises, heavy cherry, apple, and cranberry are found, with some milder oak elements to boot. The flavor is sweet and slightly tart. I get the cranberry and cherry standing out most, while the apple flavor used more in support. A little floral, with oak, and hints of vanilla and cranberry round this one out. Long lasting cranberry apple aftertaste. Light in body and with a slick texture. This is so delicious and refreshing I'd happily drink this for breakfast. A must buy. At Hopishop 2017. Aroma of lemonade, sugar, raisin and rosehip. Taste has raisin, caramel, rosehip, syrup and sugar. Reminds me of the roosvicee lemonade I got as a child. poisoneddwarf (2710) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - SEP 22, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2017 Rating #2600. Wax dipped 750 ml from Keyport Liquor in Superior, WI. Aroma contains all three fruits included, in abundance. Cherries come out first, followed by apples and cranberries. There was a fleeting off-note of metal when I first opened it, but it disappeared quickly. Pours hazy amber with a medium beige head with decent retention. Taste is sour and sweet and is a fruit flavor explosion with every sip. Nothing fake here. It's common knowledge, but it bears repeating: New Glarus does fruit beers like no other. Most other breweries' fruit beers look absolutely ridiculous in comparison. This is the bar and it has been set. jc1762 (1693) - JAPAN - AUG 6, 2017
Bottle into a wineglass showing rust copper with sparse white foam.
The nose shows a juicy mix of cranberries, apples, and red cherries.
The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Apple forward balanced with cranberry astringency and lightly tart cherries.
