Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn. Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which can not be duplicated otherwise. Expect this Ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying.

Aroma: Not picking up much of an aroma here, maybe a little biscuit. Smells like a lager Appearance: Cloudy from the yeast. Thin, white head did not last long Taste: sweet and slightly citrus/fruity taste. No bitterness here. Tastes like a sweet lager, not an ale Mouthfeel: Medium, creamy body. Low carbonation, almost flat. Overall: New Glarus makes some great beers, but this one doesnt do much for me. Not much aroma or flavor here. Tastes like an extra sweet and creamy mass produced lager.

12 oz bottle. Hazy yellow with a dense white head. Aromas of lemon, white sugar, corn, and cream. Creamy, silky with simple malts, lemon, and just a bit of bitterness in the finish. Very clean and easy drinking.

Bottle. A- Grains, subtle cream. A- Yellow color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Sweet corn, grains, cream, soft fruits. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Honestly not for me. I am glad I finally got to try it but I can see why its so beloved among Wisconsin natives and non craft beer drinkers. Still a solid beer for what it is.

Bottle. Bready malt aroma with notes of corn, fruit and light hops. Pours opaque golden colored with a moderate off white head that has good retention and lacing. Starts with bready malt and corn flavors with a light smooth body, probably a product of the flaked barley. Finishes smooth and clean with light fruitiness and hoppiness. Nice, no frills cream ale.

Wisconsin is lousy with Spotted Cow and its clear from the first sip why this brew is so popular. It pours cloudy yellow. Its fruity, bready, and sweet on both the nose and the palate. While theres quite a bit of sweetness coming from the cereal grains and creaminess, this brew isnt cloying. Finish is crisp and smooth. You could crush large quantities of this at any time of the year.

Bottle at a non craft bar. Not bad. Bready, malty. It actually reminded me a little of a dopplebock.

This bottled brew from a beer bar poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated slightly hazy yellow orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was malty and musty. The semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of orange peel hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special. Good, but I expected better from this brewery.

Clover honey sweetness is predominant flavor. Slightly bready finish. This is a sound beer, not flashy, not capricious, not loud and obnoxious -- much like the good people of WI. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

B. Pours a semi clear straw color with white head. A little light on flavor, but otherwise good
