Very enjoyable and smooth. Not too hoppy at all but nice dark fruit, malt and nut characteristics.
Bright shiney copper hue under a thick ivory head. Nice toasty German bready malt nose. Brisk toffee toasty malt flavor that’s crisp and soft and toasted bready. Smooth semidry finish. DWestrick (803) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 1, 2017
Bottle. Admittedly not my favorite style, but this was crisp and refreshing- true to form. Good beer vyvvy (6638) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 1, 2017
It pours copper orange with an off white head. The aroma has toffee and rich marzen lager smoothness. It has a medium body with mild carbonation. The taste has rich toasted malt, caramel, toffee and light noble hops. Thanks a bunch to terminus for picking this up for me. pkbites (970) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 1, 2017
For whatever reason I am not a huge fan of this style. I think it's because they are never as malty as I expect them to be. This one is no different. Lovely medium/dark amber with a nutty nose and light beige head. But the flavor is light and watery. Little malt flavor and only light hops. Kind of grainy as well. It's okay but not great. On tap @ Cafe Hollander, Brookfield, Wisconsin. randy1969 (69) - Marengo, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2017
Aroma of spiced, herbal hops. Appearance of amber, red with puffy white head. Nutty, caramel sweetness with a lingering spiciness. Mellow and soft carbonation, with a rich and full body.

On tap at Mars Cheese Castle bar. Pours clear copper. Aroma is lightly roasted medium bodied and quenching with a clean finish. Very good Oktoberfest but not exactly bursting with flavor so in my opinion, not among the very best. Scipio (1177) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2017
Pours a clear, dark golden with a thin white head that settles slowly. It looks a little watery actually. The aroma is weaker all around. I find toasted malt, nuts, and caramel, though nothing stands out. The taste is moderately sweet. Caramel and brown sugar are found on top, with spice as a good supporting element. Minor amounts of floral hops, nuts, and some toasted hints are found underneath. Short finish of caramel is very faint. Its light in body and has a thin texture. Even though this isn't my favorite style, I'm still disappointed. MNAle (216) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 25, 2017
Pleasant aroma, malty, hints of spice, perhaps some grass. Nor too strong. Clear amber, lots of bubbles, a medium creamy-appearing off-white, slightly tan head, dropping fairly quickly to a bubbly cap with some thick lacing. Good body and mouth feel. Taste is all malts, bready and hints of spice, relatively simple, not sweet, with only a little bittering in the middle through to the finish. This keeps the taste balanced and makes the finish not all malty sticky. Moderately clean finish. I like the taste of this beer a lot, but it could use a just bit more balance from the hops. basaywhat (306) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear brilliant amber with a thin whispy off-white head. Clean, slightly fruity sweet malt aroma. A very flavorful oktoberfest with a unique somewhat floral, spicy sweet character and a crisp very mildly bitter finish. Lively carbonation. Jabic (657) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JAN 27, 2017
Ar: Sweet grass and deep toasted notes; a touch of caramel and red apple. Ap: Orange-amber and clear; medium off-white head with moderate retention, leaves a ring of multi-sized bubbles and a very thin haze of foam with some large-bubbled suds. T: Very deep toasted malt with moderate sweetness up front; grass and hay, with candied apples; overall clean fermentation profile; low bitterness, no hop flavor; finish is deep toasted malts and rich grain, which resonates. P: Medium-full body with medium-high carbonation; medium-dry finish. O: Very nice oktoberfest beer; full of rich malt notes that really shine through with little else to get in the way; a nice amount of sweetness up front, but finishes fairly dry.
