COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Teased from the loam by the kiss of the Sun. Moms Strawberry Rhubarb delights are the happy memories of childhood. Diploma Master Brewer Dan employed juicy sweet Strawberries to tame the barbaric wild tart fermentation of rhubarb. Escaped from the far corners of neighboring yards, local rhubarb was incorporated into the wild sour fermentation to create this drinkable dream. Bright sour and effervescent. Toast chilled cold to Bright skies, fireflies, bare feet and rhubarb pies!

Aroma is strawberries, (assuming) rhubarb, medium sweetness and cake-like malts. The flavor is strawberry, slight mustiness, mild funk, malts and a mix of berry cake and strong tartness in the finish. Its hard to go wrong with a NG fruit beer.

Bottle murky brownish light amber, color of apple cider. Nose some acidic tartness followed by strawberry cheesecake. Taste tart upfront fading into strawberry jam. Fairly creamy mouthfeel for the style. Not very pretty, but sure tastes better than it looks.

Murky red-brown body, large off-white head, spotty lacing. Intense strawberry, some lactic notes, and earthy rhubarb. Medium to light bodied, moderate sweetness and acidity. Lively carbonation. Another winner from New Glaruss fruit beer program.

750 ml green waxed bottle served in a stemmed wine glass. Enjoyed 7/20/13. A: Pours a murky brownish color with some red tints to it. An off-white head forms on the pour and recedes to a thin ring. Mild lace. S: Fresh squeezed strawberry with a nice oaky profile to it. There is a light spice from the rhubarb. A little stemmy and pithy as well. T: Same as the nose. Lots of freshy strawberry juice with a little sweetness and tartness to it all at the same time. Light oaky profile with some malty breadiness that provides even more sweetness, but in a different way. Nicely cuts the juiciness and fruitiness from strawberry. Light touches of spiced rhubarb. M: Extremely drinkable. Light bodied with a fruity and sweet finish. Light and airy mouthfeel. O: As with all New Glarus fruit beers this one is dangerously drinkable as it borders on a nice fruity juice. Nice balance of fruitiness and sweetness. Extremely fresh and juicy. Would enjoy again. Bottle. Pink brown colour, little head. Aroma is strawberry cheesecake, bit funky, some citrus, sweet. Taste is great. All fruit beers should be like this. Bit sour from rhubarb, good strawberry sweetness. Creamy but still a bit tart. Really nice. Texture like a lambic. Initial sourness then goes into strawberry cheesecake. Best beer of the day by miles.
