COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Teased from the loam by the kiss of the Sun. Mom’s Strawberry Rhubarb delights are the happy memories of childhood. Diploma Master Brewer Dan employed juicy sweet Strawberries to tame the barbaric wild tart fermentation of rhubarb. Escaped from the far corners of neighboring yards, local rhubarb was incorporated into the wild sour fermentation to create this drinkable dream. Bright sour and effervescent. Toast chilled cold to Bright skies, fireflies, bare feet and rhubarb pies!

Bottle:   Dark dirty, deep amber.   Large frothy beige head, nice lacing.   Whoa!   Strong strawberry tootsie roll aroma.   Sweet, candyish, and strawberry in the candyish sense.   Lordy, sweet, strawberry, some tootsie roll, very much like the candy Mamba, the German Starburst.   Dialing in there is a bit of Rhubarb as well.   Sweet, very realistic and flavorful.   Lots of fruit beers are very artificial, but New Glarus just kicks the piss out of everything in that they come across as very natural.   This is no exception.   Lingering Strawberry, Rhubarb, and Tootsie Roll.   Fruity and candyish, absolutely well put together, not to be separated, and unified to create one of the greatest Fruit Beers out there. &nbdp New Glarus has this market cornered, and forever will.   Real, fresh, and authentic.   Not many brewers can do a Fruit Beer with those three words.   Thank you Bob!

Hazy reddish amber pour with a thin creamy off white head and lots of light sticky lacing .... aroma of mostly sugary strawberries and some caramel malt with rhubarb appearing as it warms .... taste is of sugary strawberries, tart rhubarb, has some jam qualities to it ... def has nice body to it with a light lively carbonation ..... lightly acidic with a dry tart finish ... delicious but a tier under their other stuff

ours a nice light red strawberry red. The nose on this beer is amazing! Like fresh pressed strawbeery jam, sweet and sugary. This one starts of with a nice quick tart punch from the rhubarb, fallowed by the sweet juicy strawberries. The flavors compliment eachother amazingly. Almost like drinking a strawberry fruit roll up! Has a slighly filling mouth feel, def one to share with your lady friend! Overall another fruit beer homerun from New Glarus!

New Glarus is great all around, but they’ve become the go-to fruit beer brewery in particular. On the same level at the raspberry and cherry. Sweet, but not overly so, ends dry. Ruby red and delicious.

Huge thanks to mverity! Pours a murky pinkish red. You can smell the freshness of the strawberries used. Very natural and aromatic. Both the strawberry and rhubarb aroma is there with hints of the malt, almost making it pie like aroma. Taste is abundance of strawberry and rhubarb, Fresh! Again the malt taste is there slightly adding a pie crust taste. The beer is sweet but not cloying and finishes dry. I would love to drink this all the time for dessert or outside at a picnic. Actually i could drink this a lot of places. Only negatives I can give it is that its almost more fruit juice than beer, but with flavors like this its hard to complain too much.

Aroma is heavy on the sweet rhubarb and strawberry. Taste mildly tart with the rhubarb and strawberry really shining. Nice cloudy brown color. Really really liking this beer.

Reviewed from memory of 10/5 bottle share. Big thanks to Lukaduke for sharing this bottle. Nose is huge strawberry rhubarb pie, fruity. Smells amazing. Taste is liquid strawberries, jam, rhubarb. Finish is very sweet. The fruitiest beer I’ve ever tried!
