Teased from the loam by the kiss of the Sun. Mom’s Strawberry Rhubarb delights are the happy memories of childhood. Diploma Master Brewer Dan employed juicy sweet Strawberries to tame the barbaric wild tart fermentation of rhubarb. Escaped from the far corners of neighboring yards, local rhubarb was incorporated into the wild sour fermentation to create this drinkable dream. Bright sour and effervescent. Toast chilled cold to Bright skies, fireflies, bare feet and rhubarb pies!

New Glarus is great all around, but they’ve become the go-to fruit beer brewery in particular. On the same level at the raspberry and cherry. Sweet, but not overly so, ends dry. Ruby red and delicious.

Huge thanks to mverity! Pours a murky pinkish red. You can smell the freshness of the strawberries used. Very natural and aromatic. Both the strawberry and rhubarb aroma is there with hints of the malt, almost making it pie like aroma. Taste is abundance of strawberry and rhubarb, Fresh! Again the malt taste is there slightly adding a pie crust taste. The beer is sweet but not cloying and finishes dry. I would love to drink this all the time for dessert or outside at a picnic. Actually i could drink this a lot of places. Only negatives I can give it is that its almost more fruit juice than beer, but with flavors like this its hard to complain too much.

Aroma is heavy on the sweet rhubarb and strawberry. Taste mildly tart with the rhubarb and strawberry really shining. Nice cloudy brown color. Really really liking this beer.

Reviewed from memory of 10/5 bottle share. Big thanks to Lukaduke for sharing this bottle. Nose is huge strawberry rhubarb pie, fruity. Smells amazing. Taste is liquid strawberries, jam, rhubarb. Finish is very sweet. The fruitiest beer I’ve ever tried!

Bottle. The pour is a murky reddish. The aroma is all strawberry. The taste is also heavy strawberry. A solid fruit beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Yespr’s - Thanks. Cloudy red/amber - offwhite head. High strawberry, fresh strawberry, light rhubarb aroma, rødgrød - no cream, light acid in the taste, rhubarb taste, light artificial strawberry in the taste. Nice but not that complex.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2014 From a bomber. Ugly cloudy brown. Very nice. The strawberry flavor is delicious, sweet without being cloying. Nice acidity, not as sour or funky as raspberry tart, I could drink this more often.
