Bottle at the Semi-Final Tasting, my place in London. Thanks to Jack. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Sugary malts on the nose with light caramel and some faint floral notes. Big sweet flavor with sticky pine, sturdy grass, a bit of caramel, and alcohol. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, big and sweet, with more caramel and alcohol, some ripe fruits, heavy malts. Not terrible, but it would probably improve a lot as it mellows out with age. jtclockwork (16443) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 21, 2012

Bottle shared by alexsadad06. Poured clear copper color with an average off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted caramel malt and resin hop aroma. Moderate to heavy body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy biitersweet flavor to medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded with a complex beer.
