4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2015 Thanks to iNBe for this. This was excellent stuff. Just tart enough, not overwhelming. Very bubbly. A lot of flavor for the low strength. Serving: Bottle
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2017 12 oz bottle from a liquor store in Superior, WI. 2017 bottle. Smells of lacto, floral, Riesling grapes. Pours nearly clear pale yellow with a good sized white head that reduces somewhat quick. Taste is very lightly tart (5/10) and a tad sweet. From the grapes, I imagine. Mouthfeel is bordering on overly foamy, but that's what they're going for, so...Very understated beer overall, but it tastes good. hershiser2 (3537) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - AUG 10, 2017
Bottle courtesy Drake - many thanks! Labeled the alias Berliner Weiss 2017. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is yeast, lemon zest, light grasses. Flavor is yeast, lemon zest, copper, grasses, light bread, light grape. This is solid. jc1762 (1552) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 4, 2017
Bottle into a snifter showing well filtered whitish yellow with sparse white foam.
The nose shows moderately tart notes of bread and biscuit with light notes of banana and citrus.
The palate is full bodied and well carbonated. Lightly tart with flavors of light banana and lemon. Simple and easy berliner weisse.

Hazy golden pour with a big, rocky, frothy bone white head. Aroma was light lemon, white wine, yeast. Flavors were slightly tart, fresh lemon, cereal malts, simple yet elegant. Lively, champaign like carbonation.

Shared 12 oz. bottle of the 2017 version, poured to snifters displaying a hazed, light golden color, with a fluffy layer of white head foam, and dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was light yeast, soft wheat, lemony tartness & tanginess, a bit dusty, with some grass & greenery. The taste was similar, light to medium bodied, with decent spritz to the effervescence, and a pleasantly dry finish. Nicely balanced & perky refreshment.

12fl oz bottle poured into an English pint. Clear sparkling gold with a modest white head. Fruity aroma. Flavor is a blast of sour.
Holy crap! I almost spit this out. My girlfriend poured this for me for a blind rate. I was not expecting that. Still, even after several sips, it’s incredibly sour. I didn’t like this at first but it grew on me. Not a bad Berliner- never thought i would say that.
1. GF knows I am not a fan of Berliner weiss.
2. Don’t give anyone a Berliner weiss blind. Ever.
3. Seriously. Who does that???
4. OK, do that if you want to laugh… and you’re an ass.
5. For real, I wish I had thought to do that. Criz (358) - - APR 28, 2016
2016 bottle. Aromas of white grapes, light malts, sweet corn, faint straw. Hazy golden pour with a foamy frothy white head. Flavors of white wine, chardonnay, tart grapes, white bread. Slight tart semi-dry pallate. The smoothest Berliner Weisse I’ve had. Not my favorite style but well done. Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - APR 2, 2016
2 Apr 2016, bottle. pale yellow and faintly hazy. nose is sweet, light lemon. crisp grape must, light lemon juice. pretty good on its own and would probably go well with berliner syrup. GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - MAR 20, 2016
Pale yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, lemon mainly. Taste is tart, little puckering. Very dry. Grain aftertaste is present but not dominating. Great lacing.
