Typical American saison, It pretty much hits all the key notes for the style. The belgians do it better though. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle. Musty lemon, yeast, and barley malt aroma - very nice. Slightly hazy golden yellow with large head. Musty lightly sweet lemon and barley malt flavor. Very tasty - wish they’d make this a regular. hopscotch (11049) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Bottle... Clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The bouquet is fruity, yeasty and spicy - pear, apricot, clove and white bread. Medium-bodied with busy carbonation. The flavor leans spicy and sweet, but there is a small measure of unobtrusive, minerally bitterness that prevents cloying. Nice pear and apricot components. Crisp, spicy, clove finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!
