Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a big creamy white head with little lacing.
Plenty of spicy Belgian yeast and some fruity esters, hints of banana. Orange zest and white pepper.
Crisp, spicy Belgian yeast with some sweeter malt and grain notes, which I wasn’t expecting as much. Lemongrass, orange zest and even a bit of sugary pears in the finish.
The mouthfeel is less carbonation than many saisons and definitely on the heavier side of things. It’s also sweeter and less dry than most in the style.
This is another great beer from New Glarus but I don’t think it’s one of the best versions I’ve had (unlike their wheat beers, which are stunning).
Hazed, light golden colored liquid. Tall, off-white head. Lightly sweet, pale, dry malt scents. Mild yeast, touch of cloves, and hints of tropical fruit. Sweet start, with a mild peppery spice bite. Hints of apricots and mango. Seems a bit chunky at times. A golden/saison mix. 7/12

Blast from the past. Bready, yeasty, slightly sweet with some hints of red fruit. Drinkable. djd07 (15356) - Houston, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2015
Bottle thanks to Tim. Pours a cloudy yellow with small frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is pepper, Belgian yeast, and grain. Thin mouth, light spice, fruity malt, ginger, light dryness, very good. ben4321 (6678) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 20, 2015

Aroma: The aroma is yeast/spice, some funk, and fruity notes present as well
Appearance: It pours a gold color with an off-white colored head on top
Flavor: The flavor comes off pretty similarly, yeast/spice, grass, and some fruity notes
Palate: It is medium bodied, with a pretty nice overall mouthfeel
This one is pretty good. Glad to have gotten a chance to try it. Definitely something I enjoyed drinking and would drink again.
Bottle at Pauls 2015 tasting. Pours a light yellow body with white lacing. Mouthfeel is thin and a bit papery with lots of yeast upfront; additional notes of grass, lemon, spice, light fruit, ginger/pepper character and zest.

Bottle. Pours yellow gold white head. Nose/taste of lemongrass, lemon, toasty bread. Medium body. vtafro (7444) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Spice, fruit, yeast aromas. Flavors are nice saison yeast, light fruit and spice. jbruner (5124) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Pours a cloudy orange from the bottle with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of funky Belgian farmhouse yeast, hints of grass and lemon. Taste is more toward malt, slightly oxidized, not sure how this was treated or how old it is down here in Georgia. Not bad, sure it was better fresh. tom10101 (6229) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 11, 2014
Bottle (12 oz). From Rich, thanks! Cloudy golden/orange with a medium white head and good lacing. Aroma is quite fruity with grainy, honeyed sweetness and some spices. Taste is also fruity and grain with spices and moderate sweetness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Spicy finish. Not bad, but not easily drinkable/quenching and really nothing to crave for. Boring. BiiruBierBeer (1056) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Smell is honey and generic saison smell. Taste follows the nose with a pleasant honey note. Good medium to high carbonation with light foam that compliments the honey note.
