COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pure and crisp, this is a beer with nothing to hide. Wisconsin two-row barley malt ensures a mellow and smooth body. We imported Noble Hop varieties from Germany and the Czech Republic to ensure a fine mature aroma with no coarse bitterness. Expect this beer to pour a delicate golden hue that sparkles in the summer sun. Extra Pale is brewed using all natural ingredients with no artificial additives of any kind.

Shared from 12oz brown bottle at Jason’s house, thanks Mike C-Z! It poured a clear straw colour with white foam, lasting with a little lace. Pleasant albeit subtle aromas of husky grain and mild noble hops, very mild grainy flavour too, hint of black pepper. Light body, smooth mouthfeel, spritzy carbonation, refreshingly dry finish. Tasty and true-to-style pale lager, an undeniable upgrade over other Wisconsin macro adjunct lagers, but nothing special or memorable in its own rite.

Pour is straw yellow with a small, white head. Nose is grassy with a little funk. Taste is sweet. Highly carbonated but somewhat watery. Okay brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of pale malts, floral hops, and some bread/toast. Flavor the same. Average to lighter texture. A decent beer for the style, but not overall.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Clear, pale yellow with a 4-finger white head and very good lacing. Aroma of sweet grainy malt and a touch of lemon. Taste of grain, bread, black pepper and a hint of lemony citrus. Light body and medium/low carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a pale straw color with a thick creamy white head formed by a lively effervescence. Aroma is mildly sweet malt. Light flavor and body with a lively carbonation. Just a clean light beer with a hint of bitterness on the end There is a picture of this beer next to Lawnmower Beer in the dictionary.

On tap while eating pizza. Nice crisp lager with a good malt flavor. Golden body. Lots of flavor.

New Glarus Totally Naked has a thick, white head, a clear, straw-gold appearance, a few white specs, and very heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, slightly pungent grain, and the flavor is of the same thing, with very low levels of hop bitterness for balancing. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and New Glarus Totally Naked finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT

12oz bottle that poured a bright golden yellow with white head. Mild aroma of like sweet corn flakes. Mild on the hops a well. The flavor is mild to medium nothing. Just a bit is sweetness and not much else. For a first time craft beer drinker this might be fine. But for those who crave more flavor this isn’t it.

Tasted on 10/15/11 from a capped 12oz bottle. Pours clear pale yellow, with an average white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is light with some fruity notes, and wheaty light malt. The flavor is very lightly sweet cereal malt, with a floral note, and creamed corn. The body is light with average carbonation and a short creamed corn finish.

BeerInHeaven (459) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 12, 2014
Clear straw yellow with a smallish white head. Aroma is faint grass. Taste is crisp, carbonated but a little watery. Semi sweet on the finish with a faint hop presence. Not New Glarus’ best effort.
