Draft at the source. Clear bright golden yellow color. Aroma of white pepper and fresh hay. Taste is light lemony straw. Light body. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 21, 2010
A: The pour is a clear light golden color with a finger’s worth of white head that has excellent retention and thick, sticky lacing.
S: The nose is of grassy hops with some light, sweet malts. A bit of corn in there too, but not sickeningly sweet or "off" at all.
T: The flavor is biscuity and mildly sweet. Noble hops provide a subtle earthiness and a soft bitterness. Overall, this is quite crisp and refreshing.
M: The body is fairly light with a moderate but crisp carbonation.
D: I’m not sure what’s with all the low scores for this beer. I found this to be a really nice lager that is crisp, clean, and easy to drink. djd07 (16306) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 19, 2012

Clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt and grassy hops. Light body with flavors of pale malts, hay and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent overall. crossovert (14135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 13, 2011
Billed as a "Light beer" this is about as pedestrain as it gets with New Glarus. I think this is only available in summer too. Comes in a plain looking 12 ounce bottle.
Pours into my stange with a nice helles gold. 3 finger foamy white head. Leaves "digital camo" like lacing.
Smells like a lager should, no adjunct, just pure hops and malt. A little bit of sour lemonyness which seems to plague all american light lagers.
American lager characteristics show up even more in the flavor. Intense biscuity malts pair with a nice hop overtone. A bit of fruity/lemon nature kisses the tounge. Good carbonation though it is a tad bit watery. Aftertaste is mostly malty.
The low abv makes it quite the session beer although it is way over-priced compared to other New Glarus brews unfortuneately.
It is a lawnmower style beer that executes its role quite nicely. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 24, 2008
