500mL Bottle. Thanks Kevin! I dreamt about pilsner last night. In my dreams I was going from bar to bar in a rather well-populated urban center, failing to find any respectable renditions of a well-lagered, lightly hoppy, crisp and crackery pilsner. It was frustrated. So to slake the thirst of my dreams, I’m pouring this hallowed beer tonight. While I am fully willing to acknowledge that this 500mL bottle I’m drinking is not as fresh as it could be, honestly, it doesn’t seem that much worse for the wear. It doesn’t suffer from that soppy, wet cardboard oxidized pilsner malt flavor that so many brown bottled European pilsners suffer from once they get to the states. No, this is lively, rich with pale honey, cracker, wheat germ and fresh bread flavors, nicely backed with a light, light hint of hops. Juicy in the finish. Ah yes, this was what I was searching for in my sleep. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 27, 2011
Pours gold with a lasting, bollowy white head. Smells of earth, some grassy hints, noble hops, touches of wildflowers. Tastes spicy with up front semi sweet pilsner malt, some light citrus, earthy finish. Some minerally notes as the beer begins to warm. Excellent! I wish more pilsners were as flavorful as this one. Clear yellow with a foamy head. Rich malty aroma with some light hops, caramel and crackers. Flavor is nice. Rich malty flavors, bread, light apples. Good stuff. Boutip (6397) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 9, 2011
Bottle: Poured a clear bright golden color ale with a huge foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal and grain taste is very particular and enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by clean cereal and grain notes with a light vegetable note. This is a though one to judge as it is not a style that I have easy access to. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Refreshing and well brewed with a different malt bill then I am used to with limited use of hops. douglas88 (9408) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 6, 2011
500 ml bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a medium white head. A nice nose of honey, spicy hops and sweet malts. A very nice flavor; crisp and clean, earthy malts, honey, light spicy hops, easygoing and smooth. A dry apple and bready finish.

Tasted on 12/29/10 from a 500mL bottle purchased at Discount Liquor in Milwaukee. Pours clear light golden with a thick white head that recedes rather quickly to uneven lace. The nose is pale pilsner malt with some anise, and a good amount of spiciness added (I assume) by both the yeast and the noble hops. The flavor starts off with just a hint of sweetness, moving to light anise and noble hops spice with just a hint of bitterness on the back. The body is light with average carbonation and a medium bitter, and sticky finish. mlunger12 (645) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 16, 2010
Bottle courtesy of drowland, poured a weak amber, some hops on the nose, its good, nothing to special but solid. juiceisloose (1492) - Windermere, Florida, USA - DEC 15, 2010
500 ml bottle, courtesy fantomas23. Pours a clear golden color and topped by a small, smooth head of off white foam that leaves minimal spots of lace on the glass. The aroma is clean and fresh with toasted grains, straw, and doughy bread along with a good amount of grassy and peppery hop bitterness. This just smells really refreshing. The flavor follows and shows a great balance between the fresh grains, toasted wheat, and doughy bread sweetness while the floral and grassy hops add some countering bitterness. Light bodied and crisp with moderate carbonation that leads to a nice dry and slightly bitter finish. This is a really refreshing beer and a great pilsener. I could easily drink this stuff all the time. fear025 (213) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - DEC 14, 2010
Aroma:A little sulphur, some flowery hops, and some honey in the aroma.
Appearance:Light gold, very clear, creamy head. The head has medium retention.
Taste:Crisp flavors on the foretaste with subdued noble hop bitterness. Honey on the aftertaste.
Palate:Medium-light body, lots of carbonation.
Overall:For a pilsner, this one is very pleasant. It’s pretty true to style, except for being a little sweeter than normal. The sweetness is not cloying, so this beer is certainly sessionable.
