Pours a translucent pale yellow with a one finger white head. Nose is bready and malty with hints of grass and hay and a mild grainy sweetness. Flavor is bready and rainy with some hay and light grass and a mild sweetness, some lager yeast in the background. Palate is soft with a mild bitterness. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2010
Poured from 500 ml picked up from New Glarus Brewery, pours a clear golden color with a thick whtie head, has aroma of sweet malt and a hint of hops mixed within some fruit notes, the taste is very sweet with a great mixture of fruit and hops, overall very enjoyable lager! daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - SEP 5, 2010
Clear yellow. White head. Rich malty aroma with some light hops, caramel, crackers, bready notes. Flavor is nice. Rich malty flavors, bread, light apples. Good stuff. csbosox (1229) - Prairie Village, Kansas, USA - SEP 1, 2010
500ml bottle. Biscuty, subtle lemon, light grain and floral hops. Lightly kilned malt, light fruitiness, floral and herbal hoppiness. This was very subtle overall, though also very enjoyable. dchmela (3088) - Orlando, Florida, USA - AUG 31, 2010
Sampled at the DDOS tasting. Light yellow pour. Malt aroma with a nice noble hop balance. Taste is much the same, really nice malt with a perfectly balanced german hop bitterness. Very good.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2010 500 ml bottle shared by csbosox. Pour is clear golden with a nice full 2 inch white head. Aroma is grainy malt, and a touch of sweetness and light floral. Pretty subdued nose, though nice integration. Taste is the mineral straw grain malt, along with a mildly clove yeastiness, then the floral touch of the nose. Nice balance between all the flavors. Palate is medium bodied, lowish carbonation and a dry crisp mineral finish. Tasty and easy drinking. Nice one, thanks for sharing Chris. ucusty (2693) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - AUG 29, 2010
Thanks to Sam for sharing. Gold pour with a fluffy white head. Toast and biscuits on the nose. Light corn notes. Toast and sweetness. Really easy drinking. Spicy and minerally on the finish Skyview (6115) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - AUG 29, 2010
Picked up a single 500ml bottle at the brewery, south of New Glarus, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden yellow colored brew with an average off-white head that quickly dissipates to a white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, hint of tropical fruit, floral and grassy hops and a touch of sweet corn. Taste is medium bodied, average carbonated, with flavors of golden grain malt, hint of citrus and floral hops and some white bread. Finish is light, crisp, nearly clean cut with a short lived bitterness. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 28, 2010
500mL courtesy of CaptainCougar. Poured a clear yellow with a fizzy, giant, fairly dense, white head. Spotty lace. Aroma is sweet roll bready, grainy, lemony, no off character: fresh grist, corn flakes, some slight sweet pineapple. Taste is bready and full and moves to slight Czech/German hops in the finish: drying, soapy bitter. Very clean and simple. I’d like to believe this is what Budweiser tasted like back before the world was taken over by computers. sebletitje (10477) - Enghien, BELGIUM - AUG 25, 2010
Dog Days of Summer Gathering, thanks Juiceisloose.
light golden, white head.
fruity, with notes of honey/sugars, floral nose with touch of hops and yeast.
flavors, medium carbonation, pale malts adding a touch of sweetness, yeasty palate with light bitter hops undertones, thin palate.
Crisp and refreshing with the perfect balance of malts and hops, all within the Bohemian style.
