COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Recipe changed in 2011. Four thousand years before Christ, Sumerian women created the divine drink of beer. Viking women brewed in Norse Society. European Ale Wives were so successful as cottage brewers they were taxed. Artisanal women lost their domination of the daily ritual of brewing during the Industrial Revolution. Today’s brewing trade is controlled by men. The collaboration of two Craft companies both led by women, New Glarus Brewing Company and Weyermann Malting, is unique. You hod the result "Two Women" a classic country lager brewed with Weyermann’s floor malted Bohemian malt and Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops. A tempting and graceful classic lager found... Only in Wisconsin.

Very nice bronze appearance with a delightful taste. Almost has an ipa feel but stops a bit short of the hoppy flavor ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery. Deep golden body. Smells a little bready. Tastes of sweet doughy malts up front and then becomes toasty and bready. Very light spicy bitterness. Finish is mostly bready and lightly sweet malt. Light body. More flavorful than the other lager I tried and just as well made.

From the tap at the brewery. A very drinkable beer-- a mild, and slightly malty lager. Bready malt aroma with hops and some caramel malt. Golden with a big white head, it offers a heavy quality, but keeps the crispness. Not too bitter.

Pours a clear golden orange on tap with bubbly white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of mild herbal and earthy hops over clean lager base. Taste follows, a great lawnmower beer, and another solid lager from them.
