An orange beer wih no head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops. The flavor is sweet hoppy combined with a slight note of alcohol - leaving a slight burn, as well as notes of citrus, leading to a dry hoppy end. joergen (29611) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 23, 2006
Cloudy golden coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of malts, caramel, hops and pine needles.
Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, hops and pine needles. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2007
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Thomas_E. Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Hoppy, lightly citrusy aroma. Medium body, some light caramel accents, some fruit and weak, woody notes. The finish is solidly bitter. Somehow this fails to really deliver. 270607 djd07 (16298) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 27, 2013
Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with medium frothy head leaving decent lacing. The aroma is a strong fruity hop and pine. Thick mouthfeel with a strong bitter hop bite with flavors of pine and orange. Hides alcohol well, a very impressive IIPA from New Glarus. Tmoney99 (15120) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 1, 2009
Bottle shared by shigadey.
Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly diminished with minimal lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with slick texture and flat carbonation. Medium smooth bittersweet hoppy flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
This is was a good beer.

(12oz bottle) Clear apple juice body topped by medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, pineapple, grapefruit, herbal, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, pine/pineapple, grapefruit, herbal, floral, caramel. Medium body with a light resin coating for the tongue. Remarkably drinkable, gulpable even -- makes me very curious as to what the ABV is. Malt backbone prevents things from getting too unbalanced despite the omnipresence of hops. hopdog (13249) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2005
Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus (oranges), pine and sweet malts. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel, toffee and pine. There is a nice malty sweet to hoppy bitterness balance. Lots of lacing left on the glass. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2005
(Bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Fresh, lively aroma of apple, citrus, and florals. Flavor of bitter hops and alcohol. madsberg (11799) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 1, 2007

12 oz. bottle from shigadeyo. Pours a slightly hazy honey color with a small fizzy white head that disappears. The aroma came bursting out of the bottle and still had a surprising amount of hop character: sweet, ripe fruits, still some citrus and pine, grapefruit all with a sweet caramel maltiness. The flavor opened with some caramel malt and ripe fruit, but also had a good amount of earthy bitterness through the finish. Pine resin and grapefruit are also there. There are hints of oxidation and this has drifted toward being a barley wine, but I am surprised how well this has maintained some hop character. The alcohol remains well hidden in the flavor. Medium bodied with a slight burn as it goes down. I would have liked a chance at this fresh for comparison sake.
