Pours a dark red color, with a beige head. Aroma is straight cherries, flavor is straight cherries. Medium mouthfeel. I must say i’m glad i shared this with my family for christmas desert, because i couldn’t handle a whole bottle myself, just too sweet, but i must say, then 8 or so ounces i had was very good. Very nice for dessert. 37steel (186) - St. Charles, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2007
750ml bottle. Cherries, cherries everywhere. Beautiful dark hazy red pour with a pink head. Aroma is strongly cherries. Taste is sour cherries. A little bit of the pit in there. Amazing beer. This is the beer you give to someone who doesn’t like beer. ElDuderino (184) - Hyde Park, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 6, 2010
Bottle thanks to Devin. Huge sour cherry flavors, great malty balance. Nose was sweet and dry, appearance was ruby with a beige head and palate was lively and dry. Nothing over-powered and the cherries were so sweet yet the beer finished so tart and dry. Really nice. dredmond (179) - Long Island, New York, USA - MAR 5, 2011
really discernible cherry aroma, dark dark red appearance, drank from glass, syrupy feeling on the palette BiochemProf (179) - Boone, North Carolina, USA - OCT 18, 2011
Hazy ruby pour with a thick creamy khaki head with a hint of pink. Strong sweet cherry aroma. Difficult to detect anything else. Very strong flavor of sweet cherry juice with a tart mouth puckering finish. Creamy small bubble high carbonation level. Very intense ... definitely something you need to be ready for. I’m not a huge fan of fruit beer but I can certainly appreciate this one and see why it a consistent winner.

Bottle thanks to polomagnifico. Pour nice reddish color with slight white head. Nose is sweet and full of cherry aromas. Flavor is same as the nose with nice cherry flavors showing up and a slight bit of tartness at the end. Nice long finish to it as well. Great beer that would go great with dessert. Bottle thanks to Sparky! Pours hazy reddish/brown with a thin white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of this is cherries, cherries, and cherries. Taste is cherry pie, nice balanced medium bodied dry finishing beer. lebshiff21 (174) - Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2011
Really nice fruit beer. Wonderful cherry aroma and flavor. Pours deep red with fading head. Attention to detail is apparent in this beer, very light hop character and great light drinking belgian wit undertones. Got Stout? (173) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 17, 2005
Very tasty fruit beer, and well executed. I know this is against everything this site represents, but making a faux-porter with this and Guinness mixed 50 / 50 is to DIE for! Chocolate-covered Cherry! CardsPackHawks (173) - South Elgin, Illinois, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Best fruit beer available! A must buy when in Wisconsin. Really wish New Glarus would sell outside of the state. Door County cherries and beer, a perfect match.
