Finally got sme of this. Cherries and raspberries with nice complex malt. Fresh tart cherries powered through. Excellent brew. IEBAILI (128) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 10, 2008
Effervescent red brown sparkler, smells of beautiful tart cherries, intensely fruity; tastes more like a cherry pie than a malt beverage, but delicious nonetheless. The extremely high carbonation acts to balance the sweetness. bseribeer (128) - Illinois, USA - OCT 30, 2011
Superb seasonal from New Glarus. Pours a cloudy ruby, with a fizzy white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is sweet berries, and a tartness on the back of the throat. Has a bit of spice as well. Light on the palate, very fizzy with a dry finish. Overall, a very enjoyable and drinkable brew from perhaps the most consistent brewer in the midwest. This pours out a cloudy red that looks just wonderful. The smell is slightly tart, reminds me of cherry cobbler. The taste is a great sour cherry flavor that sadly leaves the more you drink. The palate was smooth, not heavily carbonated. Overall it was great, I have had 7 or 8 bottles now. BATLMULLET (127) - Highland, Indiana, USA - JUN 15, 2003
Deep, deep red with a nice pinkish and persistenct head. Intitial sourness takes you by surprise every time you drink it. Sourness sort of converts into a nice metallic (for lack of a better word)tone. Really unique stuff that is a good special occasion pop.

nice fruity beer. The ladies really love this one. It has a lot of fruit going on and some may admit too much. its cherries for damn real. Couldn’t drink more than a few pints of this.

Pours a ruby red with a slightly orange head. Sweet cherry aroma. Taste is sweet, almost medicinal cherry, combined against undertones malt. Dry, very slightly tart finish. Not really my style, but a great fruit beer DomiNate (123) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 2, 2004
Ruby red in color. First instinct was definately cherries. Reminds me of moms homeade cherry pie. Taste was very tart. Tastes like it smells...Cherries! Very good though. Makes your mouth dry and then really watery. JagerQueen (123) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUN 2, 2004
Pours an amber red, beautifully clear in color. Almost no head. Aroma is similar to the perfect cherry pie, whipped cream, crispy crust and all. Slightly musky, but incredibly sweet. Taste blossoms in your mouth like the sweetest of desserts, tart and perfect. I could drink this for days. Thanks skaughty! Baumgartner (122) - Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 14, 2008
Bottle poured to champagne flutes. Very heavy aroma of cherries just from popping crown cap. Light flower, perfume aroma also. Very small, creamy head with good lacing. The brew is murky red with a brown mixed in. Much darker than expected. Very sweet initial flavor a ever so slight hop bitter. Medium bodied with creamy, wet texture. Lively carbonation on the sides of the tounge. Very strong cherry finish. This brew just screams CHERRY the entire bottle through. Wonderful drink.
