Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

Beautiful in the glass. Great color and aroma. Strong cherry flavor - kind of like a lambic but more for the adults. Tasty.

Served: Bottled poured into a Champagne Flute
Aroma: Sweet and Fruit, cherry pie filling
Appearance: Solid red in color, transparent. Head is a light pink. Looks like a red Champagne.
Taste: Medium to heavy on the sweetness, which isn’t bad in moderation. A bit of a sour fruit taste that hits the back of the tongue.
Palate: Light body with very fizzy carbonation.
Great beer for special occasions. A welcome replacement for Champagne.

The perfect blend of fruit and beer. The tart Wisconsin cherry flavor is very strong. The barley malt is a great compliment to the cherry. This is one of the few fruit beers that I like, let alone rave about.

Pours dark, cloudy red. Aroma of cherry pie. Taste of cherry pie, with a little sour. There is a little oak flavor in it. It’s pretty sweet, but not disgustingly so. It is the best cherry beer I’ve ever had and will be purchasing again.

Pours a deep rich mahogany-like purple. Almost a plum color. The cherry aroma emanates. It tastes like cherries, but with enough tartness to balance some of the sweetness. It is very sweet though. A very good dessert beer, but not sure I’d like this if it opened my night.

Understandable that this beer's won tons of awards. Starts with a slightly sour cherry taste, finishes with a lingering aftertaste with slight hints of chocolate. Bright red in color with near constant bubbling and a strong cherry aroma. Tastes great, looks great - a truly impressive beer.

not too much in to fruity beers but this one is in another league. from the first whiff i knew i was about to taste something like i’ve never before. kinda reminded me of a jones soda since there was no alcohol presence. well done

The beer have an intense red color with a hint of brown in it. Wow, the aroma is almost overwhelming. Its dominated by a big cherry aroma with bitter almond and caramel, red apples, cinnamon and oak lingering in the background. The taste is also dominated by cherries, cinnamon and oak. It has a nutty bitterness to it that that i find most interesting. Finally the beer has a fizzy minerality that i find a bit disturbing. Overall a great fruit beer!

I had to break this out to show a friend what beer with fruit could be. Almost overwheleming, but so good!
